I forgot to take my small portable radio with me this weekend, but found out that Paul Truswell was providing the English commentary over the main tannoy at the circuit so it wasn't needed. The 'RLM' service was ok for the little of it I listened to, but they didn't seem to be providing (much?) commentary of the track action.
Got to see the fragrent Ms Samos in person as she was eating in the same establishment on Saturday evening.

Just head towards town from Bleu, this brings to you the big Pontlieue roundabout, head towards town (sort of straight across) and the road for the station is on the left should be easy to find as there are plenty of roadsigns to it.

It's the first "Le Mans" exit you get two. The road gets down to a single lane and is quite curvy so you will be going slow enough to spot the exit.

Yes, bought one from eBay a while back. You have to turn the volume up fairly high to get a decent sound level out of it, (perhaps that might be just my mp3 player) but otherwise it does the job. I'm sure hi-fi purests would complain about the sound quality but it is good enough for car listening imho.

What model of SatNav is it?
When I wanted to upgrade the maps on my PDA based satnav I had to buy a whole new full priced software package as their wasn't any sort of discounted upgrade route.
The only tricky part of the route is going through Rouen, which the Satnav should be ok with if it is only a year or so old.

A GPS unit probably won't be much use anyway as currently the French can't prosecute UK motorists for being cuaght by a speed camera .
