Stuey, - yep, same route there as the cars/traffic, and unlike the cars we take the same route back. We get there quicker, have no hassle parking, no worries about drink/drive, - it's what I believe is known as a no-brainer.

Thanks for that maybe I will give this a go. Did the three peaks last year, so with a rucksack full of stubbies this should be a doddle.

As much as I like the sights and sounds at Arnage at night during the race, I'm getting bored with the aggravation of getting there

I felt like that a few years ago, gave it a miss one year, but have walked there the last two or three. It's not really that far and you'd make quicker progress than if you were driving. Stick a few stubbies in a nice little shoulder bag and off you go, frites and coffee to perk you up before heading back.

Do you walk a different route from that for cars i.e. towards Arnage village and take a left just before you get there?

I have my tickets. 

The camping ticket (houx) has printed on it:
'Would you please slip this pass inside the plastic holder to be stuck onto the bottom of you windscreen on the driver's side'

However I have no plastic holder, should this have shipped with the tickets?

Also my GE ticket is a 47Euro (ACO members price). I am not an ACO member, will they want to see a membership card on the gate?

Awesume, just wish i had known and i would have booked the day off work. Going out for several drinks tonight to celebrate her return, back where she belongs, up in the sky.

Chris did not get advance notice so I was at work as well

However my wife got wind of it this morning and took this photo from home.

Any local or inside knowledge would be welcome, I would give up a days holiday from work to go down to Bruntingthorpe to watch her fly again for the first time. Afterall i did go to her 30th birthday party at Woodford several years ago
