Typical 21stC law making.  Inconvenience the law-abiding, make no difference at all to the law-breakers.

1985 would like its joke back please.  I'm sure the first time I saw this it was on a fax.

Asking the French to apply a rule consistently, common guys you know better than that.

"Thus racing with hydrogen can be fully carbon neutral,”

That's bollocks for a start, I wonder how their hydrogen was made (other than in the big bang of course).

If they can guarantee it was created from biomass energy or a windmill then I'll eat humble pie.

Audis driven over agressively, who'd have thought it.

I think part of the problem is the current competitiveness at the top.  Audi and Pug are so close and their cars so reliable that both teams are both able and under pressure to push for the full 24h.  Time was you would not be sprinting all the time and you could make take a few corners to pass a slow car.  Perhaps they now feel the need to pass immediately.

The GTs and the less professional drivers are part of the challenge.  OK we've had a couple of nasty incidents this year but I'd still think they are a fundamental part of the race and should stay.  I'm sure a few of the 'amateurs' are actually much better drivers than some of the professionals.

OK, after a break of 5 or 6 years we are definitely going next year.

Could someone bring me up to speed on how to get tickets these days.  We won't need camping but Parking Blanc and ACO grandstand (or similar).

And on that subject, your thoughts on the merits of various grandstands please.

Cheers

Then they should have the self confidence to enter as Lightspeed F1.

No more a Lotus than a Veyron is a Bugatti though really is it?

I understand the race is cancelled and instead they are organising a drinks party in the factory where the beer is made...

So, an event that must have one of the most complicated ticket schemes in the world and has a history of slightly shambolic ticketing is going to introduce an electronic booking system.  This in a country with a love for bleeding edge technology.

Good luck with that!
