yeah, pics from the test day in Ricard would be nice - may be for the entry list if some cars are already in their livery, but also for illustration of other parts of the guide.
Planetlemans will be at Paul Ricard at full strength. So we could probably help out again as well.

Anyone heading there that has a spare bed in a hotelroom or RV for me? :)

(or is anyone thinking about hiring an RV but lacks a person to make it financially possible...)

Another Dutchie joining the party most likely.

Will book my plane ticket this weekend (if the boss transfers my salary to the bank)

it was Stranger aka Marcel ten Caat, who now is no longer with us, for obvious reasons ;D
Working at Le Mans and therefore not being at the DfH-compound for most of the weekend doesn't mean I'm gone :) Was there multiple times!!  :o

(Late reply...yes I know, busy busy busy)

General Discussion / Re: Dome/RfH To Run Last 2 ALMS Races?
« on: January 08, 2007, 09:14:11 pm »
Oh and btw, T2M Motorsport is running a Dome S101.5 in LMP2 this year. Perhaps they can upgrade to LMP1 after Le Mans and go to ALMS when RfH will not be there.

Be sure to get your Paul Ricard testday accreditation right...or else the Bernie E. snipers at Paul Ricard will hunt you down.

No accreditation = no entrance

Four countrymen?

Be happy if you see one...

Btw, ChampCar.nl will have 'special' arrangements later on. Basically you will get the same as ticketpoint.nl sells, but either for a bit lower price or same price with extra 'exclusive items'.

Or so I was told...

The LMS (not LMES anymore!) has streaming video during the races via their site.

If you were there for the last time 20 years ago you will not recognize it now.

Changes since then:
- new layout of the track
- new paddock
- new pitlane + start tower
- new grandstands

Only the road to/from will probably be the same and even that was changed a bit a few years ago ;)

Might see ya there!

Rizla Racing Day in Assen for me (German F3, Dutch Supercar Challenge, Benelux Racing League V6 and apparently yet another boring A1GP demo)

That was last weekend... or did I mix that up with Zandvoort.
Last weekend was Ultimate Masters of F3 at Zandvoort, next weekend is 'just' a round of the German F3 championship.

Insurance companies, especially the departments that do car-damages, look at lists with value of cars per day or even worse, check autotrading websites. So if you get a few hundred pounds back (as they are on the net for prices between 300-600 pounds for cars in decent condition) you are probably "lucky".
