Wishy is already trying to get tickets.  We live about 1/2 hour from Dunsfold.  Will let you know

I too am trying to get some - via a friend whose cars have been featured recently (KWE Jaguars). I will let you know if I am successful.

you get them via the top gear web site as long as you're over 18

20  Club Arnage / General Discussion / night racing on: November 07, 2004, 01:39:42 pm
attended the night race at donington

v good, Photo-luminescent numbers would have helped to follow the race

wasn't quiet the "taste of Le Sarthe" the commentators suggested

i don't remember wearing two fleeces and being soaked through by that "sea side rain that always wets you"

there's going to be a 24 hr race at Silverstone in 2005

pity NIMBY's prevent more night  time racing at other tracks
21  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:No related LM advise please on: November 01, 2004, 06:12:12 pm
i work in cyprus for the Mod

in fact i'm off there in december/jan

you don't know anyone in the forces, as the best way is to put it on a herc and fly it.

If you want i'll contact civvy staff for the MoD and ask them how they would do it

25  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:Nurburgring advice on: October 21, 2004, 04:06:31 pm
nurburgring.de

in german needs translating - internet transaltion software is sh*t

once tendered for a survey in spain, clients pissed their sides at tender proposal as the translation wasn't correct - using the software

according to bentley test driver - tunnel then belgium towards spa/ardens easy to find

wife has been to the ring says its great countryside people just fine good food/beer etc

on way back germany to belgium - you can enter belgium without knowing it still at autobahn speeds - only been told it so don't know it for gospel - and get done for speeding.  Rumour -  you should keep you foot down and clear belgium for france  I've no idea if it can be done.

fill up in belgium supposed to be cheaper than france

You'd need to decide on distance from what?

From Le Mans?

From the web server? (Denmark isn't it?)

it's registered to an address in ontario
27  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:15 minutes of fame !! on: October 19, 2004, 06:11:43 pm
He'll be complaining about them sitting in the field watching porn next...  Tongue

LM's different Smokie. It's abroad, so it doesn't count.  ;)Although what the article complains about and what happens on a field in France does seem to have some remarkable parallels...

Who amongst us could put their hand on their heart and swear to the Almighty that they had never ever:

1. Driven flatout in a red Mini Cooper (registration SUY 609F) down the tenth at Moorhall Golf Club, getting airborn over the top of a bunker?

Or

2. Managed to break through the security boundary of Sutton Park outside Birmingham for a bit of night time gravel stage action in an Alfasud, flying sideways on the dirt roads they used to use for the RAC rally. Followed by a few cans of Banks's and a bit of slap and tickle on the back seat with that night's lucky lass up at Barr Beacon?

Anyway, let him without sin cast the first stone.

and we thourght we were 'ard just nicking the golf balls then thrwoing them at the wimpey houses that back on to it

30  Club Arnage / General Discussion / nanny knows best on: October 11, 2004, 07:16:25 pm
so nanny has decided that all those in the middle lane need to move over and that signs are going to tell them and they will obey them.

mmmmm i don't think so, yes they are bloody annoying, but so are those who drive in lane 3 for mile after mile refusing to move, lorries who pass each other with a 1 mph speed differential, construction contractors vans that have one speed (flat out) and can stop on a penny.

What is needed is......................

coppers, everyone suddenly remembers how to drive (just) when the cops are about.

Signs, like registering a dangerous dog at the post office.....useless   Angry
