Club Arnage / General Discussion / Team lemanszone.de ready for Spa and Le Mans

Hi everybody, last weekend we had our first planning meeting for Spa (just a day-trip) and Le Mans (as usual on Expo from thursday till monday). A van has been hired, the cooling trailer as well and we're looking forward to meet some of you again in the poo bar. Just a question: Haven't been to Spa since the horrible 1000 km race in 1985. What are the best places to watch? Is Eau Rouge still OK? Cheers Werner

yes, you need a ticket, but up to now we were never checked how solid the ticket was attached to the vehicle. Anyway, last year on Expo we met a bloke who managed to talk his way inside with his car without any ticket at all!!!. He told the guards that his friends were on the campground and had his ticket, all in german language so after a while they just gave up and let him go...

LeMansZone.de - team watches at the Dunlop chicane, always nice as some drivers start already to fight for position there. There's also a big screen opposite, so you can follow the action on other parts of the track.

gt-eins, a german sportscar website reports today that there is confirmation now for an ORECA-runned Audi R8 with an all-french driver line-up. Any ideas who will run the other Audis? Goh? Champion?

Yes, Werner is now back in Cologne but he was in Vietnam for quite some time.
Yes, I'm back living in Germany now, but to put some competition in this thread: Just right now I'm logged into the forum sitting in the transit area of Bangkok Airport. I'll be in Vietnam again for the next 3 weeks, unfortunately just for business

Drinking water in Le Mans? Let's stick to W.C.Fields healthy policy: "I never drink water because of the disgusting things that fish do in it. "

"Old" is when . . .
-Your sweetie says, "Lets go upstairs and make love," and you answer, "Honey, I can't do both!" -Your friends compliment you on your new alligator shoes and you're barefoot. -A sexy babe catches your fancy and your pacemaker opens the garage door nearest your car. -You remember when the Dead Sea was only sick. -Going bra-less pulls all the wrinkles out of your face. -When it takes longer to rest than to get tired. -When you are cautioned to slow down by the doctor instead of by the police. -"Getting lucky" means you find your car in the parking lot. -An "All nighter" means not getting up to pee!

...800 litres of Heineken for 20 people on pro-draft machine. Will that be enough for 5 days? Just crunched the numbers , makes an average of 8 litres per day per head. Take some more, our average in last years was in the range of 9-10 litres...
