Perhaps this should be called "When is that ferry leaving"
On the Friday before the Classic last year TTTD met up in Portsmouth at the pre arranged hotel ready for a 6:30 sailing.
There was a lot of police activity as we drove through Portsmouth that night but none of us thought much of it.
After several drinks and a short night's sleep I, as the organiser rounded everyone up and got them to the port for 5:45 ready for the 6:30 sailing.....
When 6:25 came round and no-one was boarding it was suggested that I took a look at the tickets to check the sailing time..... which was 7:30!!

To make things worse the police activity was because they had found a WW2 unexploded bomb in the town and the ferry did not sail until 9:30 while they took it out to sea to detonate it.

That's it then...
No more Le Mans for me, I have seen the error of my ways.
Swap one Tertre Rouge pass and Entry ticket for membership of this exciting club.
I read the story from start to finish EIGHT times and now I know that my life took the wrong turning when I first went to Le Mans....
I am missing out on fixing broken catches with washers and marvelling at the constant stream of campers entering the site....
I urge you all to give up this foolish obsession with Motor Racing and drinking and join Malcolm and Janet immediately.....

The Team Tickle The Dragon advance party (Me) will be staking out the pitch on Tertre Rouge from Monday 9th, yup early arrival this year, so anyone requiring beers, cold or otherwise just look for the dragon flag from that night.
I may even scorch something on a barby if you ask nicely.......
