President George W. Bush in naval aviator flight uniform. Exacting in detail and fully equipped with authentic gear, this limited-edition action figure is a meticulous 1:6 scale recreation of the Commander-in-Chief's appearance during his historic Aircraft Carrier landing. On May 1, 2003, President Bush landed on the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) in the Pacific Ocean, and officially declared the end to major combat in Iraq. While at the controls of an S-3B Viking aircraft from the "Blue Sea Wolves" of Sea Control Squadron Three Five (VS-35), designated "Navy 1," he overflew the carrier before handing it over to the pilot for landing. Attired in full naval aviator flight equipment, the President then took the salute on the deck of the carrier. This fully poseable figure features a realistic head sculpt, fully detailed cloth flight suit, helmet with oxygen mask, survival vest, g-pants, parachute harness and much more. The realism and exacting attention to detail demanded by today's 12-inch action figure enthusiast are met and exceeded with this action figure. This incredibly detailed figure is a fitting addition to the collection of those interested in U.S. history, military memorabilia and toy action figures. Actual figure may vary slightly from item shown.
Wonderful. There are conctrete heads out there who will buy this "fully poseable figure". They are no doubt interested in U.S. history, military memorabilia and toy action figures. Can we have a toy action figure of Tony Blair, complete with g-pants, please!

kpy Whilst you're checking it out (getting in some sneaky practice) can you take some piccys for us ?
Mark 2003 Lemons gang
I shall certainly take some piccies. Due to my extreme age and a bluggered up collar bone ( thanks to a high speed collision with a lamp post with my push bike - pissed as anything, years ago), I shall need all the practice I can get and will need younger and lighter team mates.

On the top of the general discussion board there is the track day thread. I wonder if it would be a good idea to organise a track day at Montlhery during the LM week next year. Lets say Tuesday or Wednesday. It's only 185 Kilometers from LM to Montlhery via L'autoroute, so not a big distance. And it could be the last chance to drive on that circuit in your life time. Additionally, it would probably help to convince the French government to keep the track alive. What do you think ? No, I'm not drunk. ![Cheesy](http://www.clubarnage.com/forum/Smileys/classic/cheesy.gif) Absolutely impossible, I'm afraid. Access to the circuit is impossible outside the few sanctioned events. They don't do track days. You might as well ask the ACO for a track day on the full circuit at LM in July ..... Montlhery's problems lie with politics and finance within the French motor industry. They are complicated and unlikely to be resolved.

It's located along the RN 23 (the road between Paris and Le Mans) near to Montfort Le Gesnois. It's about 20 kms from Le Mans and it's straight from the Tertre Rouge crossing...
Very close to the very first (1906) French GP circuit, in fact. How appropriate!! I'll be down for a look soon.

There was talk of a revival meeting at Reims a few years ago. Unfortunately it never happened, and now it's too late - they've built over Thillois and messed about with the road between the pits and Gueux, and the grandstands and pits are mere concrete skeletons. Dream on, but visit before it's too late.

I thought they already existed. "Real men ................. etc" or am I dreaming? And didn't Gilles have the web address on the back of his Golf? And didn't Bentley win this year? And didn't PM and the trenchermen discover the difference between armagnac and calvados, and what a pousse rapiere is? Or was I dreaming?

Who the flock was Felix anyway? Don't remember anything about him/her/it (as in cat). Is there something significant I've missed here?
KPY Felix was supposed to have brought the mobile chippy but never showed up. Mainly cos he never existed I think. So he must have been Paulathedrooler's ex boyfriend.
