.....so the agents and touts come to Club Arnage, knowing they can pick up tickets for a tad more than face value and then flog 'em on Ebay.....
....I spot a flaw....

Despite the theme of this thread, one of its contributors has sent me an e-mail asking "£90 each in the ball park?" for my MB passes.
So, if I say yes (and don't tell me it's NOT tempting!!), presumably I'll be accused of profiteering.
I sense a trap!!!!!!

I must apologise to all of you who've written to me re the MB tickets...I WILL reply to you all in the next few days, I promise, but I've just been made VERY busy @ work!!!!!
(Should be grateful, really, I guess!!)
Simon - merged this into the original thread. Presume you have enough interest, is it still worth people mailing you?

>>I know someone who applied at pre-q last year but didn't get his allocation
What??? Applied for 2003 tickets @ PQ 2002??!! Bl**dy hell...and he STILL didn't get any??
Even for the French, the ACO are bizarre!!

...just to put a balancing view (I'm obviously risking being flamed and outcast)...
The original purchasers of these tickets went to all the trouble of applying to the ACO (probably in person) in good time for their tickets....then had to arrange for payment (in September last year, wasn't it, this time!!!!)...so will've been without funds for almost TEN months....then had to wait on tenterhooks to see if they actually arrived...et cetera...
....it just then seems a tad presumptuous (sp?) for someone to expect to only pay "face value" when they suddenly realise they need tickets!!
Don't get me wrong (PLEEEEEEEEZE)...I would be violently opposed to someone offering their tickets AT an inflated price....but NOT opposed to someone asking for offers (with NO reserve ;-D ).
Just musing......don't want to fall out with you lot!!! We WILL be going next year, for sure!!!!! And I might need someone to call in @ the ACO offices to book my tickets!!
(Not looking forward to early June on the M2/A2 watching y'all trolling down to Dover....bu**er, bug**r, b*gg*r!!!)

Club Arnage / 2007 and earlier / Maison Blanche Passes

Due to a conflicting Nick Cave gig and unfortunate personal reasons, Le Mans is out for this year...the first time for MANY years.....AND this is the first year I've had an open topped car, as well....pout, pout...
I therefore have two MB passes for sale, which, as of today's post, are actually in my possession right now!!
Is asking for offers considered "profiteering" here, nowadays??

Urrrmm...maybe I've missed something here!! Andy...if it was an auction surely you made an offer for the tickets (of your own free will and of, presumably, twice face value) ? Are you saying that, after agreeing a price, he TOOK more than that amount from your bank account?? Or are you saying that, having made a successful bid for more than face value, the seller should've then sold you the ticket for the face value after all?? Nobody forced you to pay for the ticket...but you DID and you DID get a REAL ticket and yiu DID get to Le Mans, didn't you??
