1  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: Maison Blanche Fun at the 24 hrs. on: June 17, 2015, 08:48:34 pm
We were the very last camper to leave the Maison Blanche camp site for 2105 and I have to agree with NWorth - it was a bomb site - tents, gazebos & armchairs burnt , rubbish strewn across the area that had been camped on - appears no one knew how to put it in a bag . I must say though the majority of the site was indeed cleared up , rubbish in piles if not by the bins . Unfortunately due to these few groups of people I think Porsche will say they dont want their nice new track to be trashed and the money they make back from the ACO is not enough . They will probably want to make it a campsite for Porsche owners - maybe even move the one from the Porsche curves into MB . I guess we will wait and see , as we did this year

Just seen this on official website

http://www.lemans.org/sport/sport/actu/2007-10-15_GD_2483_gb.html

Inauguration of the Maison-Blanche track: the Maison-Blanche layout, a driving school near the Bugatti circuit, will be revamped during the 2007/2008 winter: It will be extended and will have different access roads to enable several layouts to be used. It will also have 4 permanent pits, new guardrail and gravel traps. The aim is to use it to complement the Bugatti circuit in the context of the diversification of activities offered by the ACO (different training courses, driving school, club activities, etc.)

Anyone know any further information ?

What is it going to do to the campsite?

Doesnt boad well for 2008  Sad
