Woohooo count me in, the car, old merc 230ce is running on 3 cilinders when cold... Tried to start it this morning but wouldn't run if I didn't keep my foot on the gas.
That combined with the broken seatbelt for the co-driver leaves me to fix this stuff just 4 days before we're going. And I've got my appartment to sort out. Great  Roll Eyes

No Mazda 787 Sad
To bad, I would have loved to hear that wankel engine.

There's an earlier 757 though.  It's got a similar 3 rotor wankel to the 787.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda_757
787 has 4 rotors Tongue.

I did see the 757 on the list but I thought is was a normal piston engined car.
Well atleast I get to see a wankel powered mazda race car :p, to bad it's not the 787...

Ordered my stickers. My girlfriend is doing the stickers for the car. Great to have someone working for a stickercompany Tongue.

Wondering how it will look, will post when it's stickered up.

In the meanwhile, anyone else with a stickered up ride?

Because I'm also traveling to Le Mans this year with a car that runs on LPG. I was also looking for the samething, a site or something that has all the LPG gas station in it. I found this website. It has all the gas stations in the area.

That's more the look I'm going for I think. A nice stripe with some le mans logo's of the circuit or something like that. Numbering on the side of the car. Names etc.
Probably not going to put stickers on the car months before Le Mans. Thinking one or two weeks before will be fine. So keeps the pictures and ideas coming maybe I'll get some different ideas Tongue

That's a damn good engine I think I heared people say of getting 1000nm out of that engine in the VW Touareg when tuning it a bit. In it's normal form it has 750nm and 315 bhp or something. That should make for some nice racing. Hope it will perform good.
It's even more 610bhp and 1100Nm according to Ian Dawson.
Wow that's even more awesome. I've personally not heard of them getting that much out of the engine but hell if they do it's a nice engine.
I don't know the track but if it has alot of corners it could favor the car alot.
10  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Car stickering for Le Mans on: February 28, 2008, 03:30:23 pm
So i'm looking to get some inspiration for the stickers that will be going on the car we will be taking to Le Mans this year.
So if anyone can show/post their cars from previous editions I'll be happy  Wink

Any ideas are also welcome. I don't want to make it to crazy but it can be something special.

OK found out what that Radical is all about, it's basically a Radical SR9 with a VW V10 running on bio-diesel stuck in the back.
Nothing to do with their LMP1 plans of a few years ago.

EI have a picture of the car:

Great initiative. Good luck with that!
We also need something like that here in Holland. They're also coming up with silly ideas here. No cars from before 1992 can be in the center of Amsterdam anymore and stuff like that.  Roll Eyes Angry
14  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: If there weren't enough reasons to dislike Audi at Le Mans... on: February 23, 2008, 11:16:54 am
Well Eurosport is good at screwing coverage but dutch tellie itself is even worse. As I don't have motors I hope to get to see some of the LMS races this year on Eurosport. Le mans I don't care about because I'll be there myself :p

So the security people aren't going to be running around the camping site the whole time or is it just the last day they run off...
