We were in there on friday night when there was an emotional speech from the landlady saying that this was her last Le Mans working there. If I recall correctly (which to be fair is pretty unlikely given the amount of alcohol consumed during the day) I'm sure she said she would be back next year as a customer. Take that with a pinch of salt though!!! The speech was then followed by an farewell Karaoke session from some of the customers who really should have known better than to try and sing in public........ Whilst I agree that there is likely to be little custom during the week it is near the new football ground so I guess it might pull in a few drinkers from time to time.

After far too long lurking I am getting off my backside and joining in!! I'm John, part of "team Robbo" and have met many of you over the last few years either at Le Mans or the Wokingham meets. Can't wait until next June!!!
