lets see how long before this gets Smoked

Just a bit too long I'm afraid. I have received a complaint about this one, from someone was reading CA with their young daughter. There ARE guidelines about what should be posted, it isn't a competition to see who can bend them the furthest... we've taken a slightly more relaxed view lately, but the censors pen is now coming out again. I don't want this place falling into disrepute, I think most people would agree. smokie

Teddy, which posting were you targeting here?

The colours suggest a connection to Thailand or maybe Argentina.

First guess would be a car connected to white mouse racing, maybe taken in New Zealand 1955?

The driver would be H.H. Prince Birabongse Bhanutej Bhanubandh, or Bira to his mates.

It is indeed Bira.

Well done, beer for you Nordic.

Thanks TeddyBear,

I'll see if I can find a suitable submission for this thread. At my age, I should be able to think of something.

New York
- A public school teacher was arrested today at John F. Kennedy
International Airport as he attempted to board a flight while in
possession of a ruler, a protractor, a set square, a slide rule and a
calculator.

At a morning press conference, the Attorney General said he believes the
man is a member of the notorious Al-gebra movement.

He did not identify the man, who has been charged by the FBI with
carrying weapons of maths instruction.

'Al-gebra is a problem for us', the Attorney General said. 'They desire
solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in
search of absolute values.'

They use secret code names like 'X' and 'Y' and refer to themselves as
'unknowns', but we have determined that they belong to a common
denominator of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country.
As the Greek philanderer Isosceles used to say, 'There are three sides to
every triangle'.

When asked to comment on the arrest, President Bush said, 'If God had
wanted us to have better weapons of maths instruction, he would have
given us more fingers and toes.'

White House aides told reporters they could not recall a more
intelligent or profound statement by the President.
Please note, although no boardcode and smiley buttons are shown, they are still useable

I found it hilarious, we ought to start something like this over here but, the elf and safety Gestapo may have something to say about it.

here's a vehicle while we are awaiting the next blinder from Dr S

TOAT,

Its a Morris Commercial 6x4 PU I think.

There are no front mounted insignia plates so may not of served in the military or you photoshoped them out.

Morris Commercial CDSW Field Artillery Tractor  Reg.No JMX 842.

The Morris 6x4 Tractor was brought into service in the 1930's to tow heavy field guns like the 25 pounder but was not as manouverable as the later Morris Quad which replaced it. Many CDSW's were left on the beaches at Dunkirk after the evacuation and were repaired and used by the German Army.

Now that I have learnt how to post a picture, here it is before Teddybear edited it.....So Mr Teddybear, do I earn a beer?

11  Club Arnage / General Discussion / It's been a bit quiet. on: August 26, 2008, 02:01:13 am
It's been a bit quiet, so I suppose most folks are on their annual hol's etc.

Mine don't start till end of September, north east africa tour with Nile and Red Sea included (I am led to believe).

Anybody been there, what's it like? Going on one of these 'Explore' jobbies. If it's camels, my back will be b*gg***d in no time.

am not sponsered by Tesco but Beats the grapefruit diet and more nutritious than the Cambridge anyway .!

I have 2 dogs & I was buying a large bag of Winalot in Tesco and was standing in the queue at the till.

A woman behind me asked if I had a dog.

On impulse, I told her that no, I was starting The Winalot Diet again, although I probably shouldn't because I'd ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an intensive care ward with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms.

I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and the way that it works is to load your trouser pockets with Winalot nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry & that the food is nutritionally complete so I was going to try it again.

I have to mention here that practically everyone in the queue was by now enthralled with my story, particularly a guy who was behind her.

Horrified, she asked if I'd ended up in the hospital in that condition because I had been poisoned. I told her no, it was because I'd been sitting in the road licking my balls and a car hit me.

I thought one guy was going to have a heart attack he was laughing so hard as he staggered out the door.

Stupid *** ..........why else would I buy dog food?

Nice bit of history on that lovely italian little motor.  Many thanks for that.

A mate hillclimbs an ex-miglia mini and has a spare full race 1360cc motor with all steel internals that would be fun. I just fancy that supercharger whine though Cool

I had a 1340 Oselli powered cooper way back........

Speeding, clocked, sharpe left hander, little old lady, lamp post, write off, ambulance, arrest and finally court. Oh, forgot to mention 12month ban Sad

0-60 god knows but top speed was about 110mph, it just got there very quickly. Cheesy
