2009 was my first LM, but will not be my last. Don't mind admitting on the ferry home i shed a tear or two (mainly at the state some people get them selve's into)! Will be there next year. The girlfriend wanted to go next year. I told her firmly, but nicely that LM was not the place for someone who took 2 hour's to get ready for the cinema. Now she's an ex-girlfriend. Obviously did'nt like the thought of me enjoying myself! That would never do, a man enjoying himself with no woman to critiscise him for not putting the toilet seat down or replacing the top on the milk. Went with some sound chap's who i had never seen/met before, but who made me very welcome. Was amazed at how ingenious they were. Even had satelite tv for watching LM, Settee. 3 fridges and 1 freezer for the beer. BBQ and light show. Was surprised how many people went with million watt stereos but never went to the race! Why? They were just irritating, Like mosquito's or piles. Been to many Motoring events, GP's, Historic racing, Touring cars, banger racing all sorts. But when you stand at the side of the Mulsanne staight at 3am Listening for the Aston Martins, seeing the brake discs glowing as they slow down. There is only one word for it, amazing. I will be back. Crackit.
