They did'nt say they wouldn't be entering again they said they wouldn't enter as they have been there and seen it and spoken to their friends of thier experiances , and would rather do other events (revival ,optic2000, etc) Just because they were not on the track does opinion of someone who hasn't competed not count ... I can't play football myself but know a bad game when i see one . Anyways are they alone in this ? it would seem so !! Which is a good thing because like just about everyone I know it was a belter !

Comments come from a driver who has raced the support races for the 24hours in the past and many classic rallys tours and races , and several of their friends/ competitors. Format may be the same but the event is larger so guess mey be more agrgo with pits etc and getting to the line . Having witnessed an overly agressive display through the club parking by the driver of no 23 dodge charger to get to the line ,that there is a problem with spectators and fast moving racecars trying to get through. The dodge appeared to be a classic example of fastest in the pits not all that on track.

Club Arnage / General Discussion / Parking availabllity at the gate
|
on: June 30, 2010, 08:28:10 pm

Past years at the main event I have paid ta the gate to park at Arnage .This had been stopped for this years event and was pre booked parking only only (resulting in two empty car parks ). Does anyone know if this is the case for classic? Or if any of the carparks are avialable without booking?

Club Arnage / General Discussion / Dress Code !
|
on: July 10, 2008, 03:07:35 pm
|
If you have got paddock passes please see below . New one on me guess my period 'god save the queen tee shirt' might not cut the mustard this year (from classic web site dress code section ))
But beware…
To come into the paddocks, everybody has to abide by a dresscode; meaning that tracksuits, shorts and for sure bare-chested will be rejected, even with the right Paddock pass.

Club Arnage / General Discussion / Policing
|

Am I paranoid ? or did anyone else find the policing somewhat overpoweriing this year. Felt Arnage was spoilt on Friday little going on and not at all freindly atmosphere. Even the kids on push bikes pulling wheelies got a rollocking from John Darm and his mates.
