I would like to just add that I have booked a return crossing in the last few days with Norfolkline ferries from Dover to Dunquerke for only 38 quid (thirty-eight quid!).
OK, I had to take the graveyard sailing at stupid-o-clock in the morning and that Dunquerke to Le Mans is about the longest driving drag you get but for this price you save enough to cover fuel and milage, surely??
Without advertising, I think this is unbeatable, and from previous experience I can say that the service is excellent, aircraft style lounge seats, 'in flight' television, free tea and coffee, no screaming kids or other tourists. Euro-truckies do not have it that bad really!
SMOKIE - Maybe this could be of use in 'HELP' forum?!?
