I don't suppose anyone noticed but one of our buffoons got on as the final guest on the post race phone-in at about 5.55 sunday. I can't remember what he said but it was in the style of Sir Roly Berkin, late of the Fast Show. Something about

"Er blurgh blurgh... Bentley! Magnificent!....I er... just like great Uncle Tim in '33... blah blah blah... the the driver got out of the Alfa, arched his back and scuttled down down the pit lane like a giant spider!! Of course I'm very, very dwunk!"

We were cut off at this point as time had run out, but the RLM guys were howling with laughter.

We noticed!
It's such a shame when they finish far too early, you are still in the post race wind-down and they go to music...

As I recall, partners are free, others there was a small charge for.
On this basis I guess that the more guests you have, the more money they make! Therefore - why would they have a limit Grin

Again, not aware of any limit - however the most I have bought at any one time is 2 campsite permits!

What discount do you get in the ACO shop Mark?? And are you limited to how much you can spend at a time, i.e. could one member buy 20 ACO t-shirts for the whole of their group??

As wishywashyman said above - 10%.

I'm not aware of any limit!

You also get all the tickets at "series B" prices - giving further saving - if you can buy for 6 people (the limit) then you save a fair bit!

The Programme is included (so there's another £5 saved) and the "entry list" in the race pack is HUGE! This is A4 in size and includes (from memory) a double page per team, with all the stats and info on the car and drivers. It is the sort of thing that is given to journo's (in fact - they do a version for journalists).
Membership also gives you the ability to order ACO stand tickets (but there is a limit of 2).

I think it is VERY worthwhile.

wait a while cos Aco have a bad rep for organising the hand out of camp site tickets.
Stay joined to CA and watch out for a possibility of tickets for the real fans.

What has this got to do with the question?
He wasn't asking about Camp Site tickets (Was he?Huh Huh)

Yes.

Do it.

See my post (a few down from this) for a few of the benefits.
Others include discount on
Tickets
ACO Shop purchases
Free roadside assistance in France
Somewhere dry (ACO Club 24 Welcome Area) if it is raining.
83  Club Arnage / Help / Re:Club 24 pack - Did they forget me? on: June 09, 2003, 11:54:39 am
I think JPChenet may have got it - they have changed the system.
(can anyone confirm?)

I know they don't send the pack out - but they used to send out vouchers to pick up the various items that made the pack up.

If you did not collect during the race week THEN they sent it to you afterwards.

For anyone that does not know - if you join "Club 24" part of what you pay for is a "race Pack" which consists of the entry list (which is VERY comprehensive - almost like the press pack with all aspects of each team, the drivers and cars), the official Programme and a poster. A few months after the race they send you the official results (again - a huge magazine sized booklet) and a phot of the winning car.

EDIT:

BigH - you said thesame thing Grin
84  Club Arnage / Help / Club 24 pack - Did they forget me? on: June 09, 2003, 11:20:46 am
I was packing yesterday adn realised I don't recall receiving the Club 24 "pack" from the ACO this year - you know the one with vouchers for the Programme, Poster, and detailed info pack.

Did everyone get theirs this year? Or have they changed the method of checking who has what (which would make sense!)

85  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:When Do The Tickets Get Sent Out? on: May 01, 2003, 01:13:15 pm
Got mine today.

Usually, I arrive at PQ to be told they had sent them "Yesterday..."

So now I order the stands/camping tickets, and buy the Entrance tickets when I get there.
