16  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: Rouen on: June 19, 2007, 01:24:05 pm
ha ha , Rouen, we ended up taking a wrong turn, went up some silly back road, that just went up and up this hill, continued on and some how ended up on the A28 beyond the tunnel, bit of luck for once.   Not as bad as on the way there where we ended up in downtown St Dennis Paris due to satnav going loopy. 3 hours stuck in central Paris was not fun, still got to see the Moulin Rouge....ha ha

By the power of TomTom we ended up going through Rouen's red light district on the way down on Thursday night, I've never seen so many skin tight cameltoes!
Also took us a different way home as well, really easy and no queues!
17  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: So who got done for speeding this year? on: June 19, 2007, 01:20:21 pm
N138 (north of Alencon - just outside Sees), 11.15am.
There was a 355 captured in there too!
One bloke in a TVR got 1500€ fine, christ knows what speed he was doing.

I passed a 355 that had been pulled, was that you sat in the van filling out forms just after the short stretch of dual cariageway?

Me 'n a mate were pinged just up the road by an unmarked car with a laser, €135 each and a world of pisstaking from my dad, regardless of his fatherly advice I still maintain that it is infact both big and clever.

, the '07 guide is superb and money well spent, though as I pointed out when I sent a few bob in, the email address: ca.charity.fund@tmdg.co.uk. for paypal payments needs the final full stop removing from this page: http://www.clubarnage.com/caguide/ otherwise it won't work.(when you copy and paste it into the Paypal address box)

I know the internet is a mysterious and powerful beast, but how the hell did you know what I was having for breakfast?

Well, I've sent my fax in! Smiley Will wait and see what comes of it, do you think I'll get a reply by fax or by email?

Thanks for the advice and motivation and as an aside, the '07 guide is superb and money well spent, though as I pointed out when I sent a few bob in, the email address: ca.charity.fund@tmdg.co.uk. for paypal payments needs the final full stop removing from this page: http://www.clubarnage.com/caguide/ otherwise it won't work.

Thanks again,
Dave

Each year I pay through the nose for camping tickets and end up with overpriced GE tickets that I have to try to sell on, so for 2008 I want to get my tickets through the ACO like the big boys!

When should I send the booking form for next year and what are my chances of getting 4x Houx passes on my first go?

Oh well, bang goes another decent viewing spot, I wonder if they'll rebuild the banking and/or allow other camperists to access the site like wot they do at Mulsanne?

I had the gnomes babbling on at me last year about how much space we were allowed in Tertre Rouge, referring to the crappy lines they'd spray painted in the dirt and that got washed away the night before we arrived.
Just smiled and nodded until they buggered off.
Think I'll take a tape measure with me this year.

I suppose from their point of view, that particular section of infield wasn't being used to the best of it's ability, wouldn't be suprised to see a grandstand or new campsite there:

As you said, its a shame, cracking place to view the race close up, however it looks like the outfield will remain relatively untouched and with any luck they'll resurface the track up to the Tertre Rouge campsite.

Good point, well presented.
However for all those people who seem to have over ordered, there seem to be just as many who need extras at the last minute.
Oh for a crystal ball!
Happy camping everyone!

so if you are still looking there may be some bargins in a few days.
Great! So someone who pre ordered too many tickets and is trying to shift them, gets to lose money?

Does this make me as bad as the scam merchants on there, ready to fleece a fellow petrolhead?
So are you saying that all the people selling tickets on this For Sale forum are trying also trying to fleece someone?

Do you chaps not understand that the vast majority of sellers are also fellow petrolheads who are just trying to get back what they paid to ticket agents, and your comments don't help in the slightest.
