I agree, what a waste of a lovely car. Very dodgy, but not as dodgy as the lilac coloured overalls the bloke was wearing Kiss

Mmmmmmm, Hot Gossip. Saw them do a live show at chichester festival theatre years ago, i was only 15, sat cross legged for most of the show Grin Tongue.  There were a lot of males walking out at the end of the show bent double Wink.

i have to agree with most of that list, they all loved the sound of their own voices far too much for my liking, and the music left a lot to be desired. i grew up listening to the jam, sex pistols etc and there was not much chance of hearing too much of that on radio one.
mind you, local radio was even worse Cry. kajabloodygoogoo and duran dur sodding ran played by some smashie & nicey dj with a complete lack of talent. i even got that desperate i listened to radio luxembourg on medium wave. now that brings back some memories Grin.

P.S   i did however like mark and lard. at least they tried to play some good music and they did bring some laughs to the afternoon

Rhino, i am now very worried about our fellow travelling companion.  :oI dont think a cage will hold him at night. Embarrassed I vote that we leave him on the ferry so that some other poor unsuspecting victim will take pity and give him a lift to the great race. I can just see the headlines now, "Victims found barbecued on side of road covered in special sauce, mad scotsman with his trolleys round his ankles suspected".
Worrying thing is, we are sharing a tent with him Cry Cry
118  Club Arnage / General Discussion / any live music this year? on: June 03, 2004, 11:10:09 pm
Does anyone know if there is a concert this year?  Is JK likely to come back to mince on about his ferrrari?  Seemed like a good gig last year, although i was under the influence of copious amounts of beer and wine . The state i was in i would have sung along to cliff "batchelor boy" richard!! Embarrassed
119  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:Friday football match on: March 10, 2004, 12:41:20 am
I've played on worse!! There is a footie pitch on the south downs just like that but without the trees, played on it many a time for sunday league matches.  Its an art to cross the ball from the bottom of the slope in to the goalmouth without looking like a complete tool Grin
120  Club Arnage / Help / Re:First time attendee on: February 11, 2004, 11:28:37 pm
If you check the small print on your entrance ticket it does say that all spectators must be under the influence of alcohol Grin
