Hi Bob,
It is only Time, Lack of Money not to mention the distance that prevents me from taking you up on your offer of a spare seat.  Grin
Envious does not even begin to describe how I feel. Have a good time.

Hi Max,
T remember having a nice conversation with Paddy and a few others beside that Generator.
It is the quietest generator I have ever experienced. It purrred along like a orange lion Grin

Sounds reminiscent of the spaghetti tree behind the bogs on the old Maison Blanche where we used to camp. I think there were two panels there but millions of people connecting to them. Amazing it didn't blow up...

Hi smokie,
Now you are goig back a few years  Grin  Panel stuck in a hole right beside the overflowing poop tank  Shocked Those were the days we thought they would never end......but they did Cry

Hi Lofty,
These mount up to the existing drive train so only slightly  more complicated than changing wheels. Raises the ride height quite a bit which is a good thing in heavy snow.

Hi Pilgrim,
We did scrutineering last year. It is an opportunity to see the cars up close and also for driver autographs if that is your thing. Fair sized crowd. They set up bleachers and people hang on the barricades. As the cars go by one at a time with long gaps I soon got bored and wandered off for lunch  Grin  I suggest you look at the schedule and plan to attend when your favourite car or driver is going by.
I have been to the location of the "hands" many times but never for the ceremony. I presume the drivers involved will be there.  Good excuse to wander about the town which is always worth a visit in my opinion.

Hi Lofty,
Made bu Mattracks in Minnesotta USA. Not cheap but very effective when used in snow or soft ground. Here in Ontario we have some similar but only used on ATV's

Hey Phil
You are a travel monster...
Glad you got back ok, but compared to some of your trips it seems pretty uneventful.

You deserve a Pastis when we meet in a green field in 'La Belle France' in June.

Look forward to seeing you and catching up again buddy.

>Martini...LB

Hi Martini,
I look forward to sharing a Pastis with you in a field in France. Must get planning and book my flight.

28 Hours door to door. Took 20 minutes of line up to get out of the track.
Traffic on the top end of hwy 27 and the first part of I4 added 28 minutes of delay according to my GPS.
The visit to A1A from Ormond Beach to St Augustine added 2 hours but included a sandwich / drink on the beach and a walk among the bikinis  Roll Eyes

The mini van never missed a beat and seemed not to mind being thrashed up the hills of VA & WV.
Van did need a quart of oil when I had my breakfast this morning. I only managed 1 1/2 hours sleep Cry Weather was clear all the way except for a 5 minute blizzard in NY. Border crossing was fast and beat the rush hour traffic in to home base.  Grin
Good race even if the wrong Corvette won laugh
Great to see so many familiar faces. Good time was had.

Great to hear your onboard for this year Phil, Sebring wouldn't be the same without you.
Sadly Kirsten & I are going to be Saturday only attendees, she's a bit short on vacation time, so we're looking at something of a whirlwind trip. One night with my sister in Augusta Georgia, two nights with my aunt & uncle in Naples, Saturday at Sebring, then the fifteen hour death drive back home to Cincinnati on Sunday..Yeesh!
Fax

Hi Fax,
We have to do the best we can with the time allowed.
I envy you a 15 hour drive with two drivers. Although Google says mine is 22 driving hours it always takes me closer to 30 or even 32 hours depending on how much sleep I get @ WalMart
Last year some bastard decided he needed to sweep/vacuum the parking lot I was trying to sleep in.
