1  Club Arnage / So You Think You Know About Le Mans / Re: What's the Greatest Car Chase in a Movie? (so far) on: June 29, 2007, 02:18:24 am
Even though Redezvous wasn't a chase, it was a renegade film certainly. Thoughts?

Very well, thanks for the info. I thought it may be something of the sort. I wonder why they couldn't change the underbody of the car a bit to reduce the downforce or was it the massive rear wing I wonder?
3  Club Arnage / So You Think You Know About Le Mans / 1991 XJR-14 on: June 28, 2007, 10:30:34 pm
Just outta curiosity why didn't the 14's start in 1991? Was it simply a question of reliability and the car was built more for the shorter races and 1000kms? Or was there a safety issue with the car? I miss these graceful beauties Smiley Lets talk!
4  Club Arnage / Help / Re: les hunaudieres restaurant pics on: March 11, 2007, 07:45:03 pm
Ah perfect! Thanks guys, keep them coming! I'm creating a restaurant menu but instead of Chinese, it will be french cuisine. Unfortunately I've got too many racing pieces in my portfolio, so I am only going to hint at the aspect of racing in the menu. When I have it finished I'll post some .pdf files for you guys to check out. Again thanks for the help!

Hey guys,
I was looking to see if any of you had some photos from the Les Hunaudieres Restaurant looking out to the straight?
I've not been to the restaurant and I'd like to get a feel of it for the place for one of my graphic design projects at school.
Lets talk!  Smiley

7  Club Arnage / 2007 and earlier / FOR SALE: 1970 Le Mans Porsche poster reproduction on: March 04, 2007, 07:45:46 pm
Hey guys, I currently have on ebay a recreation of the 1970 Porsche poster I created for my Le Mans tribute art exhibit entitled At the Speed of Light, the LeMans Experience. It depicts the Hermann/Atwood winning car going down the pit straight during the race weekend. This is chalk pastel on illustration board measuring 24x36, so you are not getting the original but an artistic representation of the 1970 poster created by myself. I have signed and dated it along with the name of the exhibition in French on the back of the piece so as to not interupt the composition. If you would like to view the rest of the exhibit feel free to email me and I can forward you photos of that as well. Here is the link:

Thanks to all (DfH, JPC and CA) for making my buddy Jan and I feel so welcome on our first Le Mans experience! I've been to other race parties but friday was INSANE man. Great tunes, cool people and what a fireworks display! The CD burning microwave on thursday was a lovely touch too! Cool Also I wanted to thank Paddy and the DfH boys for letting me express my art that has been waiting since 1988 to be shown at Le Mans. I hope it lasts for next years camp set up! Thanks again all! Now that the US is out of the Cup its HUP HOLLAND BABY!  Grin

PS did anyone get a few shots of the drawing?
I wasn't able to  Undecided

Ok I was looking for this topic and lost track of it?! Ah good...I'll get something worked out in Illustrator and post it here in the next week or two. I'd love to find a pic of that Jag coming through Indianapolis. Also does anyone have a pic of Jan's signature? I wanted to incorperate that into the design as well. Thanks boys! Smiley
