Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:Le Mans 2004 Mass Camping Booking

In case we come together for something like a CA-compound on one of the campsites for the next year, we really should try to optimize by sharing our resources. Our team could probably provide the refrigerated trailer which we had the last years and which was a little bit oversized for us (runs either on electricity, leess noisy, but has also a generator). Takes easily about 1000 Liters of beer (in barrels, drink it fresh from the tap!!!) and in case people are interested we could organize buying good german beer (cost-sharing, no profiteering)!

Great idea, if we all can agree on a common CA camping site. put me on the roster with 3 tickets for me and my mates. I suggest HA because of it's convenient location, almost equi-distant to either the Start-Finish-Area, Dunlop Bridge, Tertre Rouge, the viallge and last not leat the fairground. But Expo or MB would also be OK. Cheers Werner www.lemanszone.de

Club Arnage / General Discussion / Extra charge for early arrivals
|
on: May 16, 2003, 10:54:38 am

Just for your information:
Today I received my camping tickets from the A.C.O. + some information brochure and some of the small print stuff says, that ( unlike in recent years) there is now an extra-charge for early arrivals (before Wednesday) on all camgrounds, payable on arrival at the site. It's 16 Euro per day for Houx, 10 Euro per day for Maison Blanche and Tertre Rouge and 7 Euro per day for all other sites.
Cheers

If you are talking about "Enceintes Generale", the normal entry tickets to the race, yes, these are available all throughout the race week and are never sold out (the race track is just soo big...)
Have fun

Soory guys, this year we won't have the bus and the trailer with us, as Reinhard, who is the owner of this fabulous equipment, can't join us and needs it for his business on this weekend. Anyway, my mates seem to have organized some larger fridge and a power supply, so if we have some extra space in that, be welcomed. I'm not up-to-date what our equipment will exactly be this year, as I'm still in Hanoi and will meet the rest of the gang on Thursday in Le Mans. Hope to see some of the nice faces from last year again Cheers Werner www.lemanszone.de

Hi Andy, thanks for your answer. Yes, we were not prepared for a hiking holiday, originally we ordered Expo or HA but Beausejour was what the booking office gave us. Looks like we will spend more time at the porsche curves this year
Cheers

Hi there, for the first time ever since 85 we'll be in Beausejour this time. Does anyone know wether there is some electric supply to hook on available there, like the supply-boxes in Expo for example? Thanks for your help Werner www.lemanszone.de

Don't worry, parking place tickets are usually no problem and there's no need to order them before the race
Just 58 days to wait....
