Unfortunately due to a medical issue the chances of me attending 2020 are less than 50%. So no plans at all at this stage. It will be the first race I have missed since I started going in 2002. Hopefully I will have recovered sufficiently to witness the Hypercars in 2021.
Sad news, Barry! I wish you a quick recovery, hope you get better soon and see you again in 2021! 2020: Team LeMansZone will hit Camp Carnage on BN with around 15-20 people, 6 of us will already arrive on Sunday evening to set up the base camp and plan to attend the scrutineering in the city centre on monday.

RIP Rex - although we met you just a couple of days each year you always left a lasting impression and I was glad that I could catch up with you at Sebring. I've raised a few glasses on you yesterday - still have a headache I'll miss you!

Werner, I'll work out your postage cost when I have the shirts and I can weigh them.
Hi Dave, thanks for this, just let me know how much it is and I'll do PayPal. Werner

Does anyone know if it will be the usual Wednesday morning to Saturday night event? I could assume they need a day more for the additional WEC practice sessions and the WEC race. Would be useful to know when planning for the arrival there...

Back on topic; why don't we meet at the bar nearest to the concert venue at 8.30 before Dr Feelgood start at 9.00? Prize of a bag of Monster Munch for the Club Arnager who has smuggled the most booze in.
Good idea, Steve: May be start 8:00 pm meet at the Courbe bar at the backside facing the track. That's where we had our CA gatherings in some years, have a few beers there (bought or smuggled) and then walk over the bridge alltogether to the concert?

To the problem of taking fresh beer to the track: Last year there were checks for beer at the main entrance and the one beginning of the start / finish straight. However, no one bothered about it at the Maison Blanche entrance, at least not whenever I walked in.

Werner, do you know what dates the campsites open, cheers.
Hi Brian, on the ticket is says from 5. - 8. July 2018, but no times are mentioned. I assume they open Thursday morning. But an email to the ACO could clarify that.

Matt, if IRCC the fine establishment in Daytona you refer to is called Lollipops. One year while taking a break from a evening monsoon that hit Rolex 24, we ended up there. Matt & I had one of the lovely dancers there convinced I was a Swede that spoke no English, with some amusing results.
Sounds interesting.
