Work's over for the week, motorhome's up and running and almost packed, Mrs JDS is off buying the essential Blighty food that you just can't get in France and I've finally got my laptop working via GPRS so I can get my email in France next week (Apple MacBooks look cool but after trying for three days to get the GPRS working I gave up and relegated it to a doorstop and used Mrs JDS' PC lappy - configured, tested and running in umder 10 mins - volla!).

With a 40th birthday party to go to on Saturday I even get some proper 'preparatory drinking' in before setting off next week. Here's to a great Le Mans week to all the CA members.

Unfortunately, yes (along with checking CA & BM for updates!). Got rushed into hosp last week so lost 4 days and deadlines don't move (more's the pity) so need to get everything cleared up by 5pm this arvo for a clear run at LM next week.

Try http://www.drive24-7.co.uk Not sure of the age limits, but they offer good value on cars, trailers, caravans etc. so may help Alternately, I've also found Norwich Union Breakdown to be very helpful (if you can get past the outsourced call center)

Is there artwork available of the CA Logo? I'd like to get some that will scale to A3 (or at least A4) so I can run one up quickly on the laser printer and nail it to the campervan - then if any thirsty CA'ers are passing KN they know where to drop in for refreshment ...

Perhaps thay have to wait until the CA Guide 'hits the streets' to ensure that they have enough content .....
