URGENT MESSAGE

Need to update my earlier message when I said the Beach Boys was my worst ever gig.

They were easilly beaten into second to last place for worst gig by Genesis at Old Trafford last night.  They looked like, sounded like, played like a bunch of money grabbing 50 somethings. It was truly truly appalling, hell it was even quiet.

If anyone has any way of passing this onto those that matter at Moneygrabbinggenesishq please do so.  Four tickets face value TWO HUNDRED AND FORTY QUID and   I had to watch them from the far end of the ground up in the clouds.  Why not play 2 nights at the MEN when everyone can see and the sound is good.  The screens were about two seconds ahead of the sound. It was crap crap crap, I nearly left.

I really like Gensis but felt truly let down last night.

I hope that those going to Twickenham tonight have a better time of it.

Rant over.

1st gig - Santana Stafford Bingley Hall I think in 1979, awesome, played Moonflower from start to end

Best gig - for sheer excitement was Led Zep at Knebworth 1979, sad to say but I cried when they kicked off with Rock n Roll, for entertainment maybe Peter Gabriels last tour or Dave (thank god for viagra) Lee Roth I think about two years ago, he was awesome at Manchester Apollo

Worst gig - Beach Boys also at Knebworth...walked out after 10 minutes of them.

Best album - impossible to choose, but if I had to it would be The Wall cos its got my fave song on it...Comfortably Numb.

Best Le Mans album - Van Halen Van Halen.

Our man in his M6 got flashed by a camera on the peage north of Paris, waiting to see what comes in the post.

Fair play to the lad, well done Lewis, Alonso crumbled.  Looks like we'll have a Brit champ this year.

Rocket,

There is an access as you describe to the west of Houx, its probably more like north west corner, I've been through it myself many times. There are in fact showers and wc's at that corner as well.

There is also an entrance to the south west corner as well which is handy for nipping across to Karting Nord.

Steve,

Luckily the M6 is under warranty.  Spoke to the garage today ( I had to chase them !) and they also found a second problem, something to do with Vanos and oil whatever that is.

Anyway, upshot was they did not know how to cure either the Vanos or gearbox and now await instruction from BMW.

If you sit back and think about it for too long you could begin to get quite upset.

I've been saying for years that Monaco should be hoisted off the GP calendar.  Whats the point of holding a race on a track where you cannot overtake.

Just been watching Indy 500 and saw lots of overtaking, not that I'm advocating that driving around in circles constitutes skillful driving.  I reckon you could strap a chimp in an Indy 500 car and he'd have a chance ( .....and now I await the reposte from our American cousins !!!!)

Steve,

Vehicles noted, will keep an eye out for you.

I wonder if the M6 suffered the same fate as my M6 did yesterday, gearbox died.  Not a good feeling. And what did the good old boys at BMW give me as a replacement whilst said M6 is re fettled, yep you guessed it.......a Nissan X Trail (diesel) !!!!!!!

Sorry to jump in a bit late, but have to say that I'm absolutely delighted that the Red S***te as we refer to them got a good cuffing.

Fantastic.
