Thought there was a phone number that you could ring & be put through to an English speaking member of staff?

Price is 95 Euros.
It's an e-ticket so all you do is print it off & the security people scan the barcode.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Club Arnage / 2017-18-19 / Bleu Nord Camping - SOLD!
|
on: May 11, 2017, 02:25:47 pm

I have two spare Bleu Nord camping pitches to sell due to last minute withdrawals from this year's event.
The pitches are on Place 85 & 86 and Rang R. Those pitches are at the north end of Bleu Nord just two Place away from the concrete fence line that separates BN from Parking Blanc. Walking distance to the main entrance is around 5 minutes.
Tickets purchased via Team Langoustine @ £85 each & I will sell for the same price.
I also have two grandstand seats in Tribune 15 to sell for the same reason. They are right on the front row. I will place a separate ad for those.
Thanks,
Paul (aka Landman)

Out via the Chunnel on Weds morning @ 09:50 - hoping to be on site by around 16:00 (sausage time).
Will be on BN amongst Club C'Arnage until Sunday afternoon, then heading to Chartres for a damn good shower, a decent steak and probably a nice bottle of vin rouge. Or two...
Returning via the Chunnel on Monday @ 15:06
Robin The Hod and I are travelling in my Merc, two more from Blighty travelling out on Thurs/Fri & two Brits (LuxExpat) from Luxurybourg joining us on Thursday. Lower numbers than last year but that will make catering easier

Thanks for the advice guys. You guys got me convinced at the mention of tents and beer. Decathlon sell tents from €19.99 upwards. Buy it, use it, lose it.

Those Coleman event shelters are very good.
For a dome, they work out quite square and hence big. What are they like in heavy rain, and with evening sun (do you need the sunwalls?) Had one for years and swear by it. They are a bit leaky in really heavy rain due to the air vents at the top of the dome. That said even in the heaviest downpour on the Sunday night in 2011 the water just ran down the poles, we stayed dry. I have all four walls as they are not expensive but a couple would do for shade or as windbreaks.

Flight to Paris, train to Le Mans, tram to the track.
Buy a tent from Decathlon when you arrive, buy some beers, buy your general admission ticket & then enjoy!
The whole week is not that expensive when you look at the cost of a camping pitch plus your gen admin ticket/pass. Unless you are an ACO member then you'll probably have to source a camping pitch from one of the many ticket agencies but a quick squint on the ACO's website shows camping pitches still available on Beausejour for €60. It's a bit of a walk to the main village area but then you're close to Porsche Curves. An Gen Admin ticket is €82 this year & that's for the whole week. The extra/upgrade option is a grandstand seat but not really necessary. You can pay up to €100 if you book direct with the ACO.
If you want/need to know more then download the club's LM guide with loads of useful information.

I'll be there, as will Russ & Ben who you have probably met before somewhere in a field in France/Spa last year. We will also have a newbie with us called Rob who was also with us on BN last June.
We're only there for race day as previously discussed.
Possibly off to the European Hill Race at Eschdorf, Luxembourg on Sunday depending on weather & hangovers...
