Can anyone give me an idea of how far the drive is that end - never had the chance (i.e. divorce) to go before and this makes it attractive.

Hi All

I have never been to the Spa rach and would appreciate some views on it - it seems from your comments that it is well worth - divorce/bankrupcy and bunking off work for???

We should be careful about this re-appearance of such a great aircraft.  Given current problems with aircraft stuck in hangers and no money in the armed forces, they will probably grant it operational wings and send it to Afganistan for our boys to fly.

I never said it would be easy, and maybe my point was a little too subtle, but basically I am saying if we dont like it we dont have to go, but we do and we choose to work around the problems.

Anyway, that little dwarf in charge of F1 would probably suggest taking it to Eurodisney (as he is doing with the French F1 GP).

Thank you guys. Looks like I will be buying that Beer!

leaving for Le Mans at crack of sparrows tomorrow (wednesday). So lets hope for a sunny one this year.

Buddha, yes it is Chris mate. I think the two of you are arriving at the same time. Hmm romantic Paris you both show up together, gayness in common. I have my suspicions!! Well if the CAP fits. Another type of contraception that.

See you on Friday me old mate. Looking forward to it. HaRRuuuAAAAAaaaa.

katanga!  Cool

You never did bother buying those beers!

Either you didn't meet him at the station or he's hiding due to embarrasment.

Exactly - last seen hitching his way to Paris!

If more people voted with their custom (i.e. go elsewhere) then they would soon be forced to listen.

I am overjoyed to hear of the end of the bendy.  I was badly injured after an emergency stop on one sent 70 people ploughing into my back.  If anyone can get a copy of the plans for the original R'master, can we submit and win the cash??

My God - Surely the only way to suffer a tube journey is through drink.  I like lefties advice on bending the rules - does this include the old brown paper bag trick?Huh?

No mate, the de rigure now is a Tesco 'Bag for Life' or some such thing, bottles of Vodka and straws.

Again, you have suggested brilliance - able to drink and claim tesco clubcard points for clever use and recycling of a plastic bag - Sir you are a genius!!

We could ask the French to organise it for us - that way we are guaranteed for the thing to run like clockwork!
13  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: Anyone interested in flying to LM24 in 2009 on: July 07, 2008, 06:03:03 pm
I like the C130 idea

Don't much care about landing a C130 on the start/finish straight, It won't fit mate.

But a C130 could take us an cars over with all the camping gear. Even better if we're all camping on Bleu Nord, it can park next to the fence.

OK then build a purpose built runway behind the track in Le Mans town - it would certainly be an improvement on the current infrastructure.

Is that where the Croydon system has failed? - They should seek sponsorship and offer free beer to all passengers and the drivers - that way they have a better chance of avoiding the cars!

It hasn't failed.

As a driver, it scares the sh*te out of me, but I use it and have had no problems. If everyone OBEYS the frigging traffic signals. There would be NO PROBLEMS AT ALL.

But I agree with train sponsorship. Afterall you're not driving, so have a drink. (Need to change the Bye Laws for that one as its classed as a public space). However, that never worries the frenchies for 51 weeks of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it still the case that you can drink quite legally on the British railway system 24/7 - could this not be an obvious development of this?
