I wouldn't count on it ... they're like rats and come crawling out of the ground everywhere ... I just hope he won't be on the 007 or 009 car so my gulf-coloured polo shirts don't pretend I'm Dutch Don't worry Belgians need more than a polo shirt to upgrade to Dutch But I share your pain on the shirts, we had a great design ready for a shirt with the Aston 009 but now we won't have it printed until we know absolutely 100% sure that Verstappen is not in that car. I guess you'll might have to think again 'bout your shirts ... AM has entered a third Gulf-car entered for LM, drivers : Davidson, Hall and Verstappen, car's number will be 008. http://www.planetlemans.com/2009/05/20/aston-martin-to-run-three-cars-at-le-mans-24-hours/(on the other hand : thank god it's 008 and not 007 or 009)

Oh crap not that asshole again The worst thing about Verstappen is not even his lousy "attitude or character" but his fans, thankfully the announcement is made rather late so the army of orange clad numpties won't make it to la Sarthe

Oi, watch your mouth! Hertog Jan, Brand and Alfa are very decent lagers!
Compared to Stella, Jupiler, Duvel, Leffe ... that's another league ... Stella? ? Jupiler? ? I guess beggers can't be choosers, but that is prolly the two worst excuses for a belgium beer!!! Duvel and Leffe on the other hand are top notch beers, but still not as good as Le Rochefort or Mc. Chouffe Brune. If you just want some kind of Lager, Stella is top notch . Although I'd prefer the blonde La Chouffe or Westvleteren ...

I went to the Nordschleife yesterday to drive on it. Even a week before the race, the Germans are building scaffoldings, gazebo's and all other things next to te fences. Seems like the best spots will be taken by tonight or tomorrow.

If you arrive on Wednesday, go to the "Rotonde", usually all unpaid tickets are being sold there. For the past years they've had more than enough BSJ camping tickets available.

I'll bet it's not REALLY that funny! Next time can we watch No ... seriously is there anyone who can translate this Rang/place thing and put it onto the diagram so we can begin to map us all in? I cant make head nor tail of it and don't want to be worrying where and how we'll all fit when driving down to BN from Boulogne.. bill I'm trying to but pitch numbers 91-92 and 88-89 are in the C-area according to the map I found at beermountain.com. Does anyone else have a correct map for this year ?

Hmmm. Looking at the brochure on http://www.lemans.org/sport/sport/calendrier/pdf/2009/24h09_gb.pdf ... it quite clearly says: Only holders of a <<Mulsanne>> or <<Arnage>> parking pass will be allowed to access with their light vehicles into the Mulsanne and Arnage parks. Free shutle services outside the circuit will enable spectators to access the Mulsanne and Arnage curves upon simple presentation of their entrance ticket (see condition).Hurrumph! Last year I drove to Mulsanne on Sunday morning, I justed parked along the road (just as everybody else). Less than a 5 minute walk to the spectator area, and no parking pass needed.

This was Monday afternoon and Tuesday. We helped quite a few groups on Wednesday, and by Thursday they'd clearly lost the plot and given up. Thank god they don't run a brewery
Sounds like a blast when we'll arrive Tuesday morning.
