OK, I'll fall for it too.

There's two spare beds in the caravan on Maison Blanche with me and Mark if you need 'em...

Roll on June indeed...

4113  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:PORTSMOUTH EXPRESS on: April 30, 2003, 09:35:01 am
That reads just like an advert for Eurotunnel.......

I shall be mostly crossing on a train.

Mostly? What about the rest of you then?
4114  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:To the lucky Sods going to PQ on: April 30, 2003, 09:33:00 am
Last weekend Mrs Smokie relented and said I could go to PQ. (Yes, I'm under the thnumb!).

Then the company has announced that this Friday 6 out of my group of 20 are being made redundant. So I couldn't get the day off.

Bummer.

Enjoy PQ...

Does Expo have a milking machine perchance? Can imagine hours of fun with that...
4116  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:Campsite events for the duration on: April 25, 2003, 10:05:53 am
Nooo problem Phil. I was going to do it again anyway - and it will be good if Chris can incorporate it into the site somehow.
4117  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:Campsite events for the duration on: April 25, 2003, 12:59:39 am
I'd prefer that it was automatic. But OK, I will do it again. Let me know:

When you travel. how many, how you can be spotted
When you will be arriving and where (which camp site)
Any events that you are planning which would be open to general (Club Arnage) participants (BBQs, fireworks etc)
If you want, mobile phone numbers
Anything else which might be of the slightest interest about what you are planning or places where things might be happening.

As in previous year's I will put together a Word doc and circulate to anyone who requests it.

4119  Club Arnage / Help / Re:Change of name? HELP PLEASE BOARD ADMIN?! on: April 23, 2003, 12:40:05 am
Why not just re-register, but I think you'd need a different email addy
4120  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:Which ferry on: April 23, 2003, 12:38:29 am
One of their letters mentoned it I thought, but I can't find it now. It wasn't much anyway, €8 a night I think
4121  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:Virus warning... on: April 23, 2003, 12:37:08 am
Not sure Outlook Express 6 would have prevented this one, but it's a good idea anyway.
4122  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:Which ferry on: April 22, 2003, 07:40:17 pm
IanB - there is rumour that some of the sites may not open till Monday morning. And ACO are definitely talking about charging extra for early arrivals.

Still, I'll be there on Sunday afternoon....(Dover Clais 10 am-ish)
4123  Club Arnage / Help / Re:Morte aux vache on: April 22, 2003, 07:37:19 pm
http://ets.freetranslation.com/ translates it as "dead to the cows".

Bable fish says it's "Died with the cow".

Either way, not a pretty way to go.
4124  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Virus warning... on: April 21, 2003, 08:17:10 pm
I got a whole bunch of emails an hour or so back which had the w32.Bugbear virus. I think DelBoy might be at the bottom of it, but BugBear spoofs the From address so a lot of them looked like they were sent by me. The mail was concerning Camping Bleu tickets. If you think you have got some and your virus checker hasn't caught them, check http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.bugbear@mm.html for how to get rid.

I've emailed DelBoy to tell him...
