Wink surely we're metric now?  how about full blown steins!

Hmm, I thought the Euro/metric/wotsit issues were stomped on back in the t-shirt ordering days.

A pint glass sounds a bit "bona" though, er, is there a merchandiser in the house?

No, no, no no!

How can you even think about making poor old me pedal whilst getting pissed, cruel heartless beasts them Brethren must be....

Mind you, a genius parking spot right above a convenient drain!

Will you just allow old folks like me to sit freewheeling?

Robbo, the trailer looks magnifique.

Err, the big number 8s arent on electrolumi... thingy stuff like the real ones are they?

Sideways leap, does anyone here know how I can get some of that elctrolumi... stuff?

It lends itself to a career enhancing thought I just had.

Please, please, please, pretty please, er, please...

How much more grovelling do we have to do?

By the way, what superb lighting on that photograph, and an excellent model too if I may say so.

Err, Robbo, mine doesn't look like that on me!

I'll be there 'til they screw the lid down!

last year it was one of those vague, boys things I was too skint for when I was a boy. Then two Novembers ago a mate said he was going next (last!!) year in his Westfield so I said OK then I'll come too in my Midget.

Turned out that he finagued (dropped out so to speak) but I had made the commitment at last so was determined to go out of annoyance at him.

My wife dropped out too, "its a bloke thing" she said so my mate Nick came too. Cut some of the costs so that helped.

We arrived in the rain just before the race, stuck up the tent on the edge of the carpark and went off in search of the noise.

That was IT!!! I will always be back...

Robbo, I don't know where you find the spare time! I like the site and as Steve says no dead ends...

All this and t-shirts and mugs.

You are right about annoying extras with Lycos, too.
Still, V.G. 10/10

Powermite, I know this sounds stupid but have you tried the offers from the ferry companies in the back of papers like the Mail on Sunday? I noticed that they are offering ridiculous prices for what you might call "early season crossings" Just a thought and might help you out. The ferry companies prices on their web sites are absolute crap, this time last year I was able to get Portsmouth Le Havre for le Mans  for £232, one car two passengers, travelling Friday afternoon. This included "club class". the offers in the "Mail" were much less than this, sorry I don't have the paper handy, to do a check for you, but cannot hurt to try 'em.

""Hmmmm will we see you streaking across the finish line on the sunday?
Horrible thought.""

Can you just see the attempted streak through all that human traffic at the finishing line on Sunday? It would go down as the slowest streak in history, but don't worry Rickmeister there will be no shortage of photo's on the site all next year, all taken by blokes and a couple of "birds" in CA T-shirts..
