Not sure if this will work from my phone or not.

For anyone in the Lincoln / Waddington area, XH558 will be landing at Waddington again today, Wednesday 20th @ 15:00 hrs. She is staying overnight and will be joined on the ground at Waddington at 10 am by both Lancasters for a photo shoot in front of a public parking area being set up for the event.

Both Lancasters will take off at approx 2 pm on Thursday and depart, followed by XH558  as she sets off for Clacton on Sea airshow.

About 8 cars per garage so space is a bit tight. Its a fun weekend and a great track and atmosphere if you can tolerate the Germans bad taste in loud music.   Grin

I have a 1/24th scale kit of this car to build, sure the decals will be a fun job ! Brad Jones name was on the car though but sadly they didn't put them in the kit but I have had some printed which will be going on my model if I ever get around to building it. Grin

They did in 2011 for definate because I had a look on the Sunday on the way home from Nottingham where I had been attending a wedding hence why I wasn't at Le Mans that year. To be honest it was a bit sh*t and they really needed a big screen showing live coverage of the race from Le Mans but said they couldn't show it in public due to licencing issues. Without the race on for people to watch, the whole thing fell flat on it's arse.

Oh man I don't know what to say. That sucks ! I really hope everything was insured. Hang in there my friend, although everything will feel shitty right now.

Struggling to understand the map this year as my numbers aren't on the picture posted on here. I have places 36 - P, Q, R & S   can anyone shed any light on where abouts this is in BN. Also is this in the Club Arnage allocation or have I been given general allocation by Team Langoustine. What numbers has everyone else got please.

Sorry the original link I copied and pasted came out all wrong. I have manually typed out the correct link and this does or should work now.

Hopefully the link should work and enable you to download a PDF file containing my report on the recent Sebring 12 Hours. "From the perspective of the 2014 Sebring Fan Of The Year."

It's an honest account of my own thoughts following the first Sebring run to the new Tudor series rules as well as the thoughts of drivers and other fans. Hope you enjoy the read and the photographs as well.

Thanks to Tom Gamble for hosting this for me online. More photography from the event can be found on my CSC Motorsport Photography page on Facebook. Send a request and i'll add you to the group.

Regards
Chris Clark

I've been to 18 of them. A lot left to see though.

Easter weekend is WEC at Silverstone,  so probably not a good choice of weekend.  I am up for it depending on the date.

maybe you can get a lift over Phil ;-)

Hi Nick, Now that would be cool. As a 20 minute ride along costs $3500 I dread to think what a 3 day crossing of the Atlantic would be  Grin
Phil
Yep, that certainly makes the $350 I paid for a 25 minute flight in the B-17 look like a complete bargain !
