As with all these price rises you don’t have to go.There are great alternatives Nurburgring, spa, classic 24 hour races.try local club circuits great value with often better viewing.like it,lump it or leave it.please don’t whine about it though. The craich with all the surrounding fans on the campsites and on the circuit is pricesless. Our gang has somuch fun it takes days to get over all the laughing. We go a make the most of it.I feel I get my money’s worth or I wouldn’t buy a ticket. If this wasn’t the case I wouldn’t whine to others.whats the point?
3  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: McLaren back on: October 12, 2023, 05:41:03 pm
I was amazed to see teams sharing garages At Nurburgring 24. It seemed to work but a sudden change to wet tyres was a bit manic.Interesting to hear you need a hypercar to enter a gt3. Isn’t that what Astommartin are doing in a couple of years.good riddance to the Gibson engines so boring compared to the mixed engine notes.will the aco kill off totally lmp2? Does anyone know.as for price increase it’s not too bad compared with some other stuff but expensive for France. A lot of circuits give free camping.
4  Club Arnage / General Discussion / McLaren back on: October 06, 2023, 06:32:19 pm
McLaren will be back to Le Mans with the 720gt3  apparently next year.To be run by United Autosports.
5  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: Beer in the enclosure on: September 11, 2023, 06:03:12 pm
It’s such a pain in the arse.the inconsistency that pisses me off.once we were told no beer so we sat on a wall next to a great stack of confiscated bottles and tins.we started to drink ours then realized there were nicer Belgium beers in the pile.by the time we’d swilled few we found hiding places in our clothes and bags.we ended up having a great drink and taking more booze into the circuit than we arrived with.

The truth is that we're all a load of old farts who remember the good old days of using a phone only to make a phone call and having to dig for any information required.
I absolutely agree though, change is not always for the better.

Keep on keeping on!
Old moist farts mostly.i still  don’t have a phone.at the Guinness tent one year there were 4 blokes larger in hand stood together texting of what ever other fuckollogy on their phones.wait all year to have a drink with mates and play with tiny compooters outside a pub. But booking camping is possible.i used to post a cheque to aco! Long live ÇA.

8  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Gordon Bennett on: July 17, 2023, 06:11:05 pm
I came upon this on the way to charade circuit. The Tour de France this year ran on some of the roads the 1905 race used.We remembered using Gordon Bennett as an expletive in the ilk of flipin eck probably 40 years ago.does anyone know why? Charade is like a small Nurburgring very twisty and through forest.we drove some of the original circuit which used to circle an extinct volcano.Near Clermont Ferrand.

Under rules for spectateurs you are not allowed to move about undressed within the circuit.does this mean nudity while being still is accepted ? Shame I thought streaking so much fun.
