1  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: Bleu Nord site plan 2015 on: April 18, 2015, 01:08:20 pm
Dear All,
Have been away on parenting duties for about 5 years now and delighted to find the same joie de vivre on the site as when I last posted.
Wishy are you out there?
Hoping to bring 13 yr old this year for first visit and haven't been prudent enough to plan ahead with tickets etc..
Is there a ticket/camping ticket forum this year?
Doug

Doug and Roy stuck here on the 'sunny' South Coast, 12 degrees and raining.
Will be watching on Eurosport and already listening to Radio LM.
Here's to Wishy and Neil, have a good one boys, you both deserve it.
Consolation was Peter Kay at O2 on Monday last, best comedian I've ever seen live, you may see me giggling on his Christmas DVD.

Spoke to Wishy this evening at some length.
God he's a tough Bugger
You'd never know what he's been through
A3 closed for 4 hours after accident
He was transported to hospital by air ambulance
Reckon he had a pretty close scrape, good thing that he's a regular God Squad!! Someone must have been keeping an eye out for him.
The 'driver' of the lorry has been charged with a number of road traffic offences.
Going to call him again tomorrow, he can take calls on his mobile after 9.30 am.
Thanks Pretzel and No Panic, you are good friends to Andy and a shining example to the rest of us.

4  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: Advice on housing and allowances - please! on: February 17, 2010, 02:17:41 am
Dear Mark,
A bit of a pickle, and I am afraid that there is no straightforward answer.
You are correct in your assessment re benefits, but I would advise a prompt application in any event.
The attitude of Local Authorities and Housing Associations varies from area to area, and the only people that will be able to advise (on housing and benefits), employing sound local knowledge, will be the Citizen's Advice Bureau or Community Legal Advice Centre, (although the latter is run by the government to offer advice on the cheap and is often staffed by second rate lawyers.)
The best of fortune to you and your son,
Doug

Bus service was terrible.
51/2 hours to and from Arnage/Mulsanne, nearly missed Stranglers!

I once ended up with a pheasant wrapped around my roof rack,
that was after it had cracked my windscreen and put a hole in my surf board!

I agree the CA guide is the definitive guide, just nice to see something better than the Autosport guide that has gone downhill so much.
