1  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: trip to Le Mans 24h for 2010, alternative measures... on: November 30, 2009, 07:52:20 pm
Senior Zarse Management spend 3/4 of the time uncontactable, and the rest of the time doing terrible things to animals.....

When you come to your senses, you'll realise that the Green monster is never going to make it to Le-Mans in one piece - it's just not possible - not with all that silt and sludge in the fuel tank.

This kind of talk contravenes section 2 paragraphs 5 and 936 of the Zarse Code. You are hereby served notice that you shall be required to stand trial (date yet to be announced) accused of Conduct Unbecoming A Zarse!

Previous 'members' have been literally disposed of and never seen again for far less!

Sensing a change of direction here.....
Cheap Trick Live at Budokan on yellow Vinyl
Led Zeppelin - Trampled Underfoot on 7" single, free with the first editions of Physical Graffiti, apparently only 400 pressed worldwide.

I totally get the soul vibe especially the Northern Soul all-nighters but when in doubt ladies and gentlemen........GET THE LED OUT!

Steve (in the garden, 2nd Stella going down a treat)

old records? Load of crap. I threw all mine away years ago. They comprised pretty much anything from the punk era from 76-79, loads of NWoBHM 80-83, ad loads of classic stuff from 60's R&B, 70's Prog rock, you name it. It's all underground in a landfill somewhere and long may the scratchy rubbishy vinyl stay there. CDs are old hat too, I even let my ex-wife take the entire CD collection five years ago.

Ipod/MP3 and digital means are the future, indeed the laptop I'm typing this on contains over 3,500 tracks, all stored logically in the iTunes program.

Get with the times guys!!

Wherever did you get all those??? You must be one of those llegal downloaders!  police

I would (as has been previously mentioned on this thread) say that I regret getting married, but I came to the conclusion a while ago that I don't. I learnt some valuable lessons from that brief dark period of my life, and if I hadn't been married then I'd never have got divorced. Which was the best thing that ever happened to me!! To those who haven't tried it yet, you must - it's a right laugh.

This brings me to my one regret: I was fortunate enough (whilst living in Zarse towers, shortly after my marriage broke down) to have an extremely pretty 19 year-old barmaid sat half undressed on my bed one night. This was after months of lending her a very sympathetic ear for all her problems until about 4am most nights of the week. A lot of effort I agree, but you haven't seen her! Well, on this fateful night, I finally managed to get her upstairs, but was soooo knackered from averaging 3 hours sleep for the previous ten weeks that, rather than tearing off her bra and going to work like a mal-nourished 2 month old, I simply fell asleep!!!

She did try to wake me, but I was capable of nothing more than spewing out the words "give it a rest, love". And that was the end of that.

8C's little brother eh? Should've guessed. It was the front grill/headlights that just didn't look Alfa to me. Hey ho, cheers mate

Right, I'm going mental looking at this so I need to know if I'm hot or cold.

First impression was a Cisitalia 202, which is strikingly similar from the front but completely different at the rear. Then while looking at the rear I thought it might be an Alfa 8C 2900, which is strikingly similar from the rear but completely different from the front.

Help me out Neil...

Item approx size: 15.2H x 15.2W x 14.6Dcm. Box size: 27H x 40W x 14Dcm. Suitable for children from the age of 3 years.

Just how do you suppose a 3 year old can derive any bouncy enjoyment from this - let alone a 5 foot tasmanian devil? It's barely the size of a football!!!  Huh Huh And why is the box twice the size of the actual item? Either they've cocked up the measurements, or it's for Barbie and Ken to suck each others toes on  Roll Eyes

Perhaps Enid might like it...  Grin

Can I just echo LPP's sentiments.

There's something terribly wrong with my brain since Sunday morning, and I'm incapable of finding my own words to describe what a fantastic time I had. Well done Vicky & co!!!  Grin  Grin  Grin
