Last year the featured marque was supposed to be MG. However, with the new Pistoheads parking area, it has become a lot less about classics and much more about exotica, which really isn't my bag. Previous British marques have included Corvette and Delahay. It's also become way more expensive to eat and drink there. Agree with Perdu and MG Mark that it's become a victim of its own success. The traffic was so bad coming out last year that I set off in the opposite direction to Le Mans and let the sat-nav take me back cross country. You also get caught up with the traffic from the Friday late arrivals. Yes I think that Mulsanne will be de rigueur for 2016

Just got my invoice from Team langoustine too. Though only three confirmed camping on BN out of a possible allocation of 10. If anyone wants to join me, Bob T and Purdu. Please let me know asap. Ta

Hi Steve,
Yes I'll be there though not sure which day(s). I'll let you know closer to the time.
Gary I'll look forward to catching up after I missed you at Donington. You were deep in conversation when I wandered over so I didn't interrupt. Steve Steve, If people waited for me to stop talking before speaking to me, they'd die of old age. Next time, interrupt me. I'd probably rather chat with you anyway.

Great weekend.
Plus points. 1. First and foremost, meeting up with old friends and meeting new ones. 2. Colin getting to the Brethren's party. Great to meet him. 3. The Brethren's Party 4. Driving there and back in a 57 year old car 5. The race 6. Knowing that I'll be doing it all again next year 7. Seeing Purdu dressed up as a clown in an outfit clearly designed for a small person 8. The Sanef Liber-T motorway tag 9. Clean sheets and a shower on Sunday night after a lovely meal with friends.
The only downside on the way home was letting my sat-nav rule my head. I wish I'd had Alec Guinness wispering in my ear "trust in the force".
