First time watching bikes for me and I'm sure to go back for more!

A convert!

Hi Doris, if you are used to watching F1, welcome to the wonderful world of overtaking. Now try World Super Bikes at Brands on August 7th, or possible even better racing will be on show in the British Superbike round on October 9th, hope we have an indian summer (in this PC world is the last phrase still allowed?)

Rossi is a God, the best rider ever, IMHO.

Well I've been watching on TV for a while now so jumped at the chance to go watch in the flesh when friends told me they were going.  Not sure I can make it to Brands for WSB, but BSB could well be a possibility.

PC?  I have no problem with that last phrase and I'm part American Indian.  Or were you refering to the other Indians?  The world is too complicated....I'm going back to bed.

Well I had an excellent time in spite of the campsite fun police and the weather.  Huge thanks to the people next to us who gave us their spare brolly when the rain came down.

Doris It was actualy Kieths idea, he was also working on

"Smoke on the Mulsanne
Party in Arnage"

But had too many 1664 to get any further.

All we need now is the Flying Bagettes.........

Hmm.  Wonder if I can hijack that one too....

Le Mans Calling

Le Mans calling now June is here
Were going to Sarthe, its that time of year
Le Mans calling all petrol heads
You’re going camping forget your beds
Le Mans calling now don’t you blame us
If your car gets all cover'd in dust
Le Mans calling see we’ve got a pool
And when it gets hot we’ll be nice and cool

Beermountain's coming, JPC too
Drinking for Holland and the SPS Crew
The commers arriving and we all have beer
Tropicoma and I, I’m killing my liver

Le Mans calling from the Mulsanne Straight
Put your foot down on the N138
Le Mans calling all you Bentley boys
Open your garages, oil up your toys
Le Mans calling Carrefour will provide
What you buy will be left behind
Le Mans calling Norbert will be there
But not allowed near the Zarse Bear

Beermountain's coming, JPC too
Drinking for Holland and the SPS Crew
The commers arriving and we all have beer
Tropicoma and I, I’m killing my liver

Now get this
Le Mans calling Club Arnage are there too
What you heard from the poo bar, well all of it's true
Le Mans calling its addictive for sure
An after all this you’ll be back for more

I never saw so many Llama

1465  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: The (Unrelated To Le Mans) Joke Thread on: July 14, 2005, 05:38:53 pm
Recently a Husband Superstore opened where women could go to choose a
husband from among many men. It was laid out on five floors, with men
increasing in positive attributes as you ascended.  The only rule was that once you opened the door to any floor, you couldn't go back down except to leave the place, never to return.

A couple of girlfriends went to the shopping centre to find some
husbands.....

First Floor.

The door had a sign saying "These men have jobs and love kids." The women read the sign and said, "Well, that's better than not having a job or not loving kids, but I wonder what's further up?" So up they went.

Second Floor.

The sign read "These men have high paying jobs, love kids, and are extremely good looking, "Hmmm," said the ladies, "But I wonder what's further up?"

Third Floor.

This sign read, "These men have high paid jobs, are extremely good looking,
love kids and help with the housework."
"Wow," said the women, "Very tempting." But there was another floor, so they went further up.

Fourth Floor.

This door had a sign saying "These men have high paying jobs, love kids, are
extremely good looking, help with the housework and have a strong romantic
streak."
"Oh mercy me," they cried, "Just think what must be awaiting us further on!"
So up to the fifth floor they went.

Fifth Floor.

The sign on that door said, "This floor is empty and exists only to prove that women are impossible to please.
The exit is to your left.
Have a nice day.

1470  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:24hr v. classic on: July 05, 2005, 10:26:10 am
I'd be up for joining a CA group to go to the classic as I don't think any of the bunch I go with in June would make the trip.  (Guys, feel free to prove me wrong on this one)  Also an ACO member so could help with the whole cheap ticket thing.
