As a postscript, it looked like James Weaver figured the only way to beat the R10 in front of him was to shove it off the track, which he did quite effectively on lap 1 - he just didn't ram it quite hard enough....

He had a bash in the pit lane too. Cheesy

Good race I thought. I do love those Corvettes.

Lots of people make the trip in a Caterfield or similiar, so I'd imagine you'd be fine. Smiley

They just have enough people coming to justify it. Sad

We beat them up virtually.

PH has a lot of moderators and things are jumped on very quickly if they are out of the ordinary.

I've sorted the camping out, but not the entry tickets yet, I might outsource that to MarkB. Smiley

(Rich - the boys and girls from the KK who 'won' at Le Mans cannot enter as it is largely the same one!).

You haven't seen our disguises though! Wink

We figured that'd be the case, we'll be sat in the corner keeping quiet then. Sad
39  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: British Motor Show ExCeL London. on: July 22, 2006, 12:17:26 am
Have been there today.

Very good show, much better location than Birmingham in my opinion.

Rick, FWIW I spent 8 or so hours there today and managed to have a good poke around everything. It is only open until 9.30pm I think, so you might be pushed to see everything you want to in that timescale. There are some very interesting concept cars on lots of the stands. TVR have the Cerbera Speed 12 on their stand too.

Remember as well, no Ferrari, Porsche, Lamo, BMW. Although the McLaren F1 LM in the supercar paddock is well worth the trip on it's own.

All in all a 9/10 from me. And rumours that I have decided my next two car purchases are erm, true Smiley

I'd heard rumours he might be joining Peugeot next year with their diesel effort?

Utah, from the TV coverage on Motors, didn't look too spectator friendly to me.

Am I wrong?

Caught the first hour of the race over the net last night before sleep got the better of me, just watching the Motors TV highlights, keep catching Hindy on the PA Smiley
