It's quite easy to fold them up, IF you read the instructions.

Very nice but won't fit in the Frogeye. It doesn't say how big the disk is when packed.

We have a 4 man pop up about the same size, and packed it's a disc 1m wide. It's a shame that they pack up this way, because they would be ideal for using with a motorcycle.

The "gazebo" style one is 85cm diameter and about 10cm thick when new. Since I've opened mine and repacked it, it's now about 15cm deep!

The one thing you have to watch out for ,when packing away Quechea 2 second "air" tents is not to take advice from a fellow camper who has the MK1 version,as the MK2 version folds down in a different format....just ask the DFH guys who watched me for 1/2 an hour trying to pack mine away at Silvestone 2 years ago.
Apart from the packing issues they are a first class tent and will witstand torrential rain and high winds like we had a t LM 3 years ago

My big 2 bedroom pole tent accidentally got burned last year so I'll be in need of a new one for this June. Pop ups look good but aftermy trusty fishing bivvy accidentally caught fire a few years ago I really dont relish the idea of trying to get one back to the same size as it popped out from!!

The tent is merely for sleeping in, will be taking a gazebo etc for other comforts!

In which case, the pop ups are your friend if you can fit them in your car MG Mark

Popped along to SK Camping yesterday where they had the Vango Dart 200DS on offer. Asked if they could demonstrate it and they said "whilst it takes seconds to put up it takes longer to put away! However went ahead and purchased it (along with a lot of other stuff for family camping trips) and they then said we suggest you try it before you go away. I said what so that when I can't get it back down I have to come and buy a new one? At least if its up in a campsite there are lots of people to help (maybe I should have said make unhelpful suggestion!) get it back down.
Anyway put it up in the lounge at 11.30 last night, finally got it back down by 12.30! Whoever said follow the instructions you are joking. The instructions say Unpeg, leave door open, turn upside twist (with a picture of a surfboard with a slight twist), Then sau Surfboard with a picture of a surfboard, then say twist(again with a pic of a slightly twisted sufboard, then say secure with a picture of a circle.
Luckily googling reveals a video on how to do it!

We did the same last year, set the tent up in the brother inlaws front room and then took 3 of us an hour to master the tent folding sequence; now its a walk in the park. We used you Tube in the end for the folding instructions.

I can't believe you lot are talking about tent folding on this forum. Put it up, sleep in it, set fire to it. Carrefour will provide next year! Dont worry, relax
