... and that the first batch of complimentary bottles of Chateau Doris is, as I type, winging its way to UK pour un CA degustation.....

Sadly not, Mark.
The first batch of Chateau Doris won't be bottled until the New Year. It was attended to yesterday and is now sitting in cold storage where it shall stay until January at the earliest (although February is more likely).

Doubtless, it is essential that the the full complexity of the raspberry nose with after hints of plum, overlaid with a whiff of vanilla and a hint of Castrol GTX, underpinned by solid foundations of glycol and a faint wisp of Big H's unguents, is allowed to develop gently, so as to enjoy this exciting wine from a fresh new vineyard at its best.
Well, that and because you know a lot more about actually producing the stuff than the rest of us put together...so we shall just have to exercise those little known (only because they are so rarely exercised) CA qualities of restraint and patience....

We await with eager anticipation!
