I'm planning on taking my Dad in 2014.

For now though it's a day in front of the tv with a cider or two.   ;D

I don't know how many of you in the Northern Hemisphere managed to stay awake through to the end, but let me tell you (in case you were in the land of nod)...  It was brilliant!  0.3seconds between 1st and 2nd, with the 3rd placed car storming up through the field.  It's not often I get excited about V8's but this year's race was pretty bloody good.   ;D

I saw the first hour and the last hour and a half.
Great racing again on a great track.   Made me think again about the Australia trip I'd love to do in a few years.  Start at the F1 race in Signapore and then head on down under for the Bathurst 1000 & Surfer's Paradise.  Afterwards road trip through Australia for 2 months should do it to see most of it I hope.

Watched most of the race and loved it. My parents are visiting my brother in Oz and they have all gone to the race the bastards :(

Sounds like a great trip.  Let me know when you do it and I'll meet you at Mt Panorama.
