WHO?, we have had a hazy Christmas and days off work - we are NOT mind readers.

Come on Stevie, get it together... :)

Ha ha, I'd forgotten that I'd asked!
I'm keeping it simple - I drive the car onto (into?) a train in Folkestone and it pops out the other end of a tunnel in Calais 25 minutes later.

Ladies and Gentlemen

Bookings are now being taken for Newhaven - Dieppe....£98 return

Don't you think you should tell them that is far too cheap?
How are they going to make a profit on that?

>Martini...LB

Just booked for Tuesday night out (2300) and Monday late afternoon (1800) back and it was £175.50; going via Quidco promises 5% cashback so that drops it a bit, but still ...
Newspaper misprints from around the world:
"After the boat had been secured above the wrecked galleon the
apparatus was set in motion by the captain's 18-year old daughter,
Veronica. Within an hour, she was yielding her treasure to the
    excited crew."

That is a more sensible price, though departing at 2300 I would have thought it would be cheaper, 1800 return is pretty good, gives a bit of time to shop.

Condor for me is £180 return but they are offering 20% discount and midday (ish) both ways, mind you to get that I have to go on a Monday :) and return on a Monday :) :)

Fear not o' parsimonious one, your wallets safe  ;D...its the 9:30 one. Duxford Imperial War Museum on the way down Friday, Premier Inn at Newhaven Friday night. Honfleur Saturday afternoon then 2 nights in Caen. Sunday will be the American landings and then drive down Monday morning to meet the rest of the Liverpool lot at the storage place, arrive at Le Mans after lunch. Did it last year and it makes for a nice relaxing week.

I can't wait  :)

Decided that as it's 2 hours to Newhaven, the waiting, 4 hours of the crossing & eventually 3 hours of driving that it's probably quicker to use the tunnel again.

Also cuts out any sea sickness, missing crossing & having to wait hours, and the thought of my passengers sitting in the bar getting lashed whilst I look on all glum like over a sugar free pokey pola.

Much as I enjoy the trip nattering with Steve and the lads I have decided I'm way too old to sit for hours on a barely moving M25, so this year I have decided to sit behind traffic to Poole instead

See you there
