Alonso/Kubica offshoot
« on: February 06, 2017, 06:39:16 am »
The Alonso/Kubica at le Mans thread got me wondering.... What F1 World Champions have won (outright) at Le Mans?

Offhand, I remember Phil and Graham, and Jochen. Anyone else?  :-\

edit: I see another, but having cheated, I shan't say. :)

I had to check that Fangio never won.  Mario Andretti tried, but never made the triple crown

Unless I'm mistaken, that's the four. The two Hills, Phil ('58, '61, '62), Graham ('72),  Rindt ('65), and Hawthorn ('55)  8)
