Last year there was no pedestrian access to Houx.
Camping pass holders only.

Hmm, may be this depends on who is on duty. I stayed last year on Houx and used both entrances many times and as a pedestrian I never had to show my camping pass, only my race ticket.

I went into Houx a couple of times last year, didn't have a camping ticket for Houx, only required to show an entrance ticket.
However with the new QR codes who knows what will happen!

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

Never showed a ticket of any sort 2 years ago and I walked through Houx quite a few time en route from Hippo to the circuit. A camping ticket covers one car that could have 5 people in it who could all leave and return to the camp site separately and not everyone will have a campsite pass. Don’t worry peeps all will be fine.

I'd rather have another Tropillama!

That sounds stupid.   That would suggest you can't leave on foot and get the Tram in to town. I was in Houx last year and I'm sure I when out on foot a couple of times and I came back on foot too.  As you enterthere is a pedestrian gate to the left.
