Beware the snake oil sales pitch. Remember that paintwork is a protective covering over the metal that happens to looks good. Like anything else it wears out through chipping, rusting, over-polishing, careless cleaning etc. and responds to regular care (i.e. it looks better for longer) in terms of proper washing and polishing. With something like this (and the Autoglym equivalents) you are applying a further protective coating over a hopefully professionally finished car using modern paitn finishes, unlike the good old cellulose and T-Cut days! However, there comes a point when you need to clean back the layers of silicon resin polish, because just like the corrugated paint surface shown on the product's site, the surface itself will be the subject of wear and tear. Of particular interest is that although the site has a button for technical data sheets, the content is completely blank - draw your own conclusions, but I'll stick to normal washing and polishing.........
