Not sure about a bbq, but I believe you can get the fold out table and four chairs (closes up like a large briefcase) for about £15! Garden/Plastic chairs are no more than £4/£5 each for the basic ones.

I can't remember of the top of my cranium but I'm sure it's 'cheap enough to leave behind'.

We normally buy a 30 euro ish BBQ (split between 20 of us is peanuts).

A word of warning with those fold out tables they don't make very good diving boards for your swimming pool.

Steve, as you are saving camping space for us it means we should be next to you so your group will be more than welcome to use our stuff. We will have 2 fridges, 2 gas bbqs, and a twin burner gas cooker thingy at your disposal.

We went the route of buying a cheap BBQ out there last year - firstly there were no disposable BBQ's to be had around Le Mans and the BBQ's in Carrefour were all over 40 Euro's IIRC.  The cynic in me wondered if the local shopkeepers had worked out that the foreigners were going to have to buy something whatever the cost and either removed the cheaper items or put the prices up!!!

The chairs were cheap as chips though.

Bob, looks like you need a full time chef in the team then.

 ;D

We should manage between us in that case.

My friend works for a camping warehouse and there is an updated (stronger) version of the briefcase style table and chairs. I'll find out how much they are because I am thinking of getting one for our group. I've got room in the estate so if you wanted one I could bring it down.

You may find BBQ from 10 euros but not after wedenesday morning in fact....
... or you can prebook one at the CA Emergency Camping Logistic Unit !!!
Le Mans is life, anything before and after is just waiting...

... it's not the taking part but the winning that counts !
