There are probably other threads which come close to answering your questions.

First thing is not to try to do too much.

I'm a mere novice with only 5 years experience but every year has been different. Because there is so much to do.

Mad Friday is something to watch or take part in, various places to watch but the road between Bleu and MB is popular, also go to indianapolis from around 11 am to see a great selection of cars.

The drivers parade in town is a good excuse to visit some new bars, or go to Arnage village fewer bars but easier to get to, you could even get an enciente general and watch the race!

Friday am pitwalk is a chance to see many of the cars close up.

I always go to the gantry by the clock for the prize giving in the hope of getting a free hat but haven't succeeded yet - got a champagne cork once!

Take it easy and enjoy.

I'm told the museum by the main entrance is a good place in inclement weather and might be of interest to a car buff.

This will be my 9th year and I haven't got there yet.

In fact for the past few years I haven't got far at all, as from the golden triangle most journeys involve going past the Liverpool Boys, JP Chenet, DfH and others, at which point my plans get hijacked by offers of beer.

The museum is very good if the weather is steamingly hot - it's air conditioned and very cool.  If you get to the point where you can't handle the heat anymore and can't cool down go there!!

The cars are pretty cool too!

A tip for the museum, maybe not quite legal.

The exit to the museum is through the shop, by going into the shop first you can enter the museum via the exit door and see it all for free.

I never told you this, OK.
