This months motorsport has a great article on the CanAm series.
These have to be among my favorite cars. My dad took me to a Thundersports race at brands hatch in the 70's.
All i remember is buying a sticker with "Short Vehicle" for my bike and these 800hp monsters on the grid in front of me spiting and misfiring before firing of into the unknown. Forward to any festival of speed, and i love the CanAm cars take off.
So to the excellent article in Motorsport, a magazine which has recently been sold by Haymarket, the publishes who own autosport.
Had an excellent article on a comparison on the 956 and the Jag which won in 1988, the Jag broke a gearbox shaft, The break hapened under one of the gears, Jan Lammers sensed there was something wrong and drove it to the finish!
Perhaps they could be interested in a Le Mans guide!
