Not sure wether this is good news or bad news but it's confirmed now that Spyker enters Formula 1, they've bought Midland.

Hope they'll still stay with GT Racing and Le Mans

Nice sunday everybody

Well, it would be silly to quit endurance racing. Now they have a wind tunnel and some very qualified engineers. The Spykers have really made progress this year. With the added technical resources they could go for a class win. But maybe that's just wishful thinking.

As in: "you bet that's wishful thinking"?

Pretty much Pieter.  Still., hope I'm wrong, have quite a fondness for those orange and silver jobs myself.  Certainly never going to see the F1 version race in the flesh.

To add speed, just add lightness.

Any news as to their continuation with GT and Le Mans?

Nice to have some variety.

There is nothing on their site beyond November '06 but I guess most series haven't been announced properly for next year so this may be the reason.  Pieter remains optimistic!

I really hope they stay. One of the most beautifull cars in GT, Le Mans and the LMS. Would be a shame if we'd have to miss that from now on.
