Le Mans movie
« on: October 13, 2006, 12:06:23 pm »
This is probably a desperate  request, seeing as I doubt anyone will give up a cpy, but I'm  looking for a copy of the Steve McQueen move  'Le Mans' on VHS.

I've already looked on Amazon and  ebay and nowt  apppears available.

I'll pay for a decent copy and a fair price as well.

I know this doesn't help much, but I had a copy until about 18 months ago - I gave it to Gilles.  ::)

I could try to transfer it from DVD to VHS....

This film should be played at high volume, so don't come complaining about it! And who the hell is Steve?

If that's possible that would be grand.

But don't if it's too much hassle.

Play.com have it for £5.99 - delivered.
Of course I buy green cars, my Aston is green, my MGB is green, my Disco Sport is green,  oh, that's not what you meant by green?

Play.com on VHS?  Unlikely, I'd say, they normally specialise in DVD (albeit cheap.)

I think that might be the wrong film anyway - they have the Steve McQ DVD at 5.99.

Is it me or wasn't the original post for the Steve McQ movie on VHS?

Oops - absolutely right Termie!  I was getting this thread mixed up with the other LM movie thread... the perils of only checking "latest 10 messages" - and not even doing that properly!!!

I'll get me coat...  ;)

Ta, but it's actually Pilgrim who wants it (at least, I think so, this thread has got me all confused - am I just having a senior moment or several?)

My VCR is dual standard so it plays NTSC and PAL.

How much did you want for it?

Whoops! Sorry Termie, brain cramp on my part.
Pilgrim, buy me a beer next time I get to the Sarthe and we'll call it even.  PM me your address details and I'll fire it off to you.
Cheers,
