100% turnout at work today no skivers because of the weather, mind you it was about 9 degrees and sunny... the joys of Guernsey the Channel Islands (to include Fagey)

.......and Somerset.  Looked out the window this morning expecting a lovely picturesque whiteness, only to find it had been raining.

The nation really is on its knees. My local pub has just burnt down.

It was a dive, the beer not always the best but it was within walking distance.

Mixed feelings. In the old days of red Ford Escort cabrios and white stilettos, The Hole used to be a good pulling pub for all the Gatwick hosties/trolly dollies/cart tarts/gays etc. More recently it became less popular with the vast improvements of new venues in Crawley. I guess I've not been near the place in ten years. You'll have to drink at The Hillside i suppose, I think that's where many years ago Gibberish met with some police on the way out and was awarded a 12 month "rest" from driving.

And another thing. It said on the TV this morning for everyone to check up on their neighbours. I live next door to an 87 year old woman and the selfish old cow hasn't been round once to see if I'm ok. She's that bone idle she hasn't even bothered to take her milk in for over a week.
